00:00Hi, I'm Liberty, I'm here with NME at Glastonbury 2024, and I'm sat with...
00:10Jacob McKenna!
00:11How are you doing?
00:12I'm good, I'm really good.
00:13How are you finding Glastonbury so far?
00:16Yeah, I love it, love the vibes, always nice, just feels very good, feels very exciting
00:22this year.
00:23Because I feel like you're a bit of a Glastonbury pro, I feel like you've seen some sights around
00:27here.
00:28I have indeed, yeah, I've been to Glastonbury six times, played five of them, and I love
00:36it here.
00:37I feel like it's a big show before you go on tour with Sabrina Carpenter.
00:41How did that come about, how did you find out?
00:44I don't really know how it came about, I just kind of got an email about it, but I had met
00:50her prior to that briefly at Lollapalooza, and actually she was in a golf buggy, and
00:58got out of the golf buggy and said hello, and we were chatting about each other's music
01:02and stuff, and then she went off, and yeah, I don't know, just kind of came through.
01:10I feel just very fortunate to have the opportunity, because it's going to be my first time in
01:15arenas, and yeah, it's going to be a wild ride, and her show is really cool, I'm loving
01:22all the music she's putting out, so it's exciting, very exciting.
01:25Are we going to see you do anything special for those shows?
01:28I feel like it's the start of a new era.
01:30Maybe, I mean I only released an album this year, so it's probably going to be a bit of
01:35everything, and I don't know, yeah, I'm definitely going to have to put in some serious preparation
01:41for it, because I want to do it justice, but I'm always ready, we're always out with
01:48the band and trying to improve on things, so yeah, who knows, it could wind up being
01:56something special.
