Staines-upon-Thames: HUGE tower of smoke rising from burning apartment block

Liviu has shared gripping footage of the fire that swept through a block of flats in Surrey, sending huge plumes of smoke billowing into the air.
The footage depicts the top of the building on fire, with numerous firefighting trucks and police cars present at the scene to get the situation under control and ensure the safety of people in or near the area.
It was reported that the blaze was the result of a blunder in the welding work being done on the roof.
