00:00Five of the 27 Philippine crew members of the ship that was attacked in the Red Sea were rescued and returned to the country.

00:07Aside from the warm welcome, the government and their families also gave various assistance.

00:15Bian Manalo is in the center of the news.

00:20You can see in the video the explosion that happened inside the MB Transworld Navigator.

00:26Some of the Philippine crew members were on board.

00:29It was an attack on the ship of the rebuilding Huthi in the Red Sea.

00:35Because of the strong explosion, some parts of the ship were damaged and the windows were broken.

00:42Several crew members were also injured.

00:45This is the fourth attack of the Huthi on the so-called vessel.

00:49More than a week after the attack, the five seafarers from the 27 Philippine crew members who were on board the MB Transworld Navigator returned to the country yesterday.

01:01This is the first batch of Filipino seafarers who were repatriated.

01:06We were trying to comfort them that maybe they were happy that they were able to return.

01:12They were not able to contain their emotions when they arrived.

01:15They felt that they would not be able to return at that time.

01:18Aside from the assistance provided by the DMW, their license manning agency also promised to provide particular medical assistance.

01:27Hopefully, we can provide assistance to them.

01:31We will provide, as per usual, our department will provide financial assistance.

01:36The DMW also gave more directives to the ship owners in relation to the distribution of ships to their designated warlights or high-risk zones.

01:47Because there is a right to refuse.

01:48So if they do not want to go there, the ship owners should provide assistance.

01:52We are encouraging the ship owners and the license manning agency to divert as much as possible.
