Thousands queue to get their hands on Wimbledon tickets

00:00I've been coming here since 1992, that was the first time I ever queued when I used to

00:08live round the road in Unipack Road and I haven't missed a year apart from the Covid

00:11years when there was no queue one year and it was ticket only the year but other than

00:15that I've been here all the time. I'm here for the whole two weeks too.

00:20Saturday morning about eight o'clock.

00:22And are you hoping to get in today is that right?

00:23Yes I'm hoping to get in because I'm supporting Alcaraz so I'm getting it. So I go in like

00:27Monday, Wednesday, Friday every two days because we follow the players we're supporting and

00:32they play every other day.

00:33And what are your hopes for Alcaraz and for British players?

00:36Yes I think Draper will do very well, Katie Boulter and I think Radhikaanu if she wins

00:42the first round match she will go far because if she's taken the seed out I think she's

00:45going to do very well. So I think those are the two I would more likely say have a chance

00:50to get to quarterfinals or something depending on how it works out on the draw. I think Alcaraz

00:56will get as far as the semis between him and Sinha it's a toss but I'm definitely

01:00sure Sinha will win even though I don't want him to. But I like him second best.
