In 1966 The Satyrs were formed in New York as backing band for folksinger Tim Hardin, and were one of the first jazz fusion ensambles that recorded for Reprise Records in 1968. Beautiful mix of trippy psychedelic rock, jazz and blues rock with extensive use of flute by frontman and bandleader Jeremy Steig.
