00:02And I was just going down the road, when I saw the road block, I said, let me leave these...
00:06I don't know who these people are, because they weren't even in police cars.
00:10Then I got up about three quarters of a mile, and I pulled over.
00:19When another policeman said, Mr. Brown, would you pull over?
00:22I said, yes. His name was Officer Donald Downs.
00:26Then I pulled over, and he and I were sitting there talking.
00:29I had the door closed. I said, Officer, should I get out on this side?
00:36He said, no, get out on the passenger side.
00:39So I slid over to get out on the passenger side.
00:42He and I sat and talked about three or four minutes.
00:46Four policemen comes up, and the first thing the man did, he hit the window.
00:52You see the glass here?
00:53Hit the window like you're breaking it like a police or Vietnam War veteran,
00:59some soldier, I said, breaking into a building.
01:02He hit it three times with the bottom of his gun and kicked it with his foot.
01:06And when he did that, I slid back over, because I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
01:11And the other police was just standing there watching.
01:13But then, I said, I don't know what this man is going to do next.
01:20I said to myself, and he still got me in a maze.
01:22I'm astonished.
01:24The man shot eight times at the wheel of the bottom of the truck.
01:30And then, I said, I was looking for something to ricochet, nothing ever ricocheted.
01:37But then when he reloaded, I tried to crank it, and it cranked up.
01:41And that's all I wanted to know.
01:43I did it then, I'll do it again.
01:45If a man shoot at me three or four times and don't kill me,
01:49if he try to reload, I'm gone.
01:52And that's what I did.
01:53I left to protect my life.
01:55Why aren't you disillusioned?
01:57I can't be disillusioned.

02:02Because I believe in the Holy Bible.
02:07And whoever believes in the Koran, or the Jewish Bible, or the Oriental,
02:12or whatever, you believe in what you believe in, but I believe in the Holy Bible.
