00:00THE JOYFUL SHEPHERD.
00:07Written and illustrated by Singsee Smith.
00:10Dedication.
00:12To my parents for all their love support and encouragement.
00:17There was a good shepherd.
00:19And he had many sheep.
00:21He watched over them as they grazed on the hills.
00:25He guided them into pastures of tender grass.
00:29And he took them to drink from clear still waves.
00:32His sheep followed him wherever he went.
00:36Just like good sheep should.
00:39Except for one.
00:40Who wandered off on his own one day to eat some extra grass.
00:45And to play in the field a little longer.
00:48But soon it grew dark for night was coming.
00:52The sky got cloudy and it started to rain.
00:56Then it stormed.
00:58The little sheep was frightened.
01:00So frightened that he just started running and not looking where he was going.
01:06He ran right into a bush full of thorns.
01:09He was stuck and couldn't get out.
01:12In the meantime, the shepherd had gone home and was putting his sheep to bed when he noticed
01:18that one was missing.
01:20Quickly he ran out into the storm to search for his lost sheep.
01:25He searched every hill, every valley.
01:28And every bush until he found his dear little sheep.
01:32He hugged and kissed it, put it on his shoulder.
01:36And went singing and dancing all the way home.
01:40When he returned, the shepherd called together his friends and neighbors and had a great
01:45big party.
01:47To rejoice over his found sheep.
