00:15He won the Pulitzer Prize in 1953 for The Old Man and the Sea, and the following year

00:23In 1939 he settled in Cuba, where he lived for 21 years until 1960.
00:29His relationship with the Caribbean Sea is evident in both his way of living, as he was
00:34fond of fishing, and in plots of several of his literary works.
00:39Hemingway's prose style was probably the most widely imaginated in the 20th century.
00:45He published seven novels, six collections of short stories, and two essays.
