00:00Welcome to yet another edition of UK Crime Caught on Camera.
00:10This time we're covering high-speed chases.
00:21The driver here is someone West Midlands Police describe as really violent
00:26and who preyed on the vulnerable and took advantage of them.
00:29The footage shows him dangerously weaving in and out of traffic
00:33but it's what he did beforehand that prompted the police pursuit.
00:38The thug stole a 78-year-old woman's bag in the street
00:43that resulted in her breaking a hip after being dragged to the ground.
00:48Elsewhere, he broke into the home of another 78-year-old woman
00:52and cut her phone line so she couldn't call for help.
00:57There, he stole bank cards and cash.
01:05The driver also stabbed another woman several times in her hand
01:08as he tried to cut the strap of her handbag while she was walking down the street.
01:17He also tricked his way into the house of a vulnerable man
01:20who previously suffered a stroke by asking for a glass of water
01:24before stealing the man's bank cards.
01:28But the homeowner's son spotted the thug leaving the house,
01:32recognised him as previously having done roofing work at the property
01:36and was later able to identify him.
01:40A day later, he stole a Fiat 500
01:43but police were able to trace it due to an in-car tracker.

03:06their own way down a dual carriageway.
03:09He clambered into the jacuzzi as armed cops tracked him down to a family's back garden.
03:15Prior to that, he was one of three thugs who led officers on a high-speed chase
03:20after they left a man for dead in a savage assault.
03:24Police say the trio drove the wrong way round a roundabout.
03:34They then drove the wrong way at more than 80 miles per hour on a dual carriageway,
03:40forcing other vehicles to swerve to avoid collision.
03:46Several minutes later, the trio turned around on the carriageway and drove the other way.

03:58where the trio tried to escape capture.
