00:00After France's second round of voting, Emmanuel Macron may be forced to govern with a coalition,
00:06with either ministers from the left and the centre-right, or those from the National Rally
00:11and the Republicans.
00:12Faced with the possibility of no absolute majority this coming Sunday, certain parties
00:17have started to reach a cross divides, starting with François Bayrou who has called for an
00:22alliance that stretches from the Green Party across to the moderate right, Les Républicains.
00:27Today, everyone who wants to see the success of democracy and the success of French society,
00:34they have to take responsibility.
00:37This coalition could include members from the Republican Party, together the President's
00:42Party as well as the New Popular Front.
00:44But to what extent?
00:46France Unbowed say they will only participate if they can implement their policies.
00:50For the Greens, it's the centre and the right who must make compromises.
00:54This eventual coalition will be built around the leading Republican force, so the New
00:59Popular Front.
01:01So this question really lies with others.
01:11The far-right, who've demanded an absolute majority to govern, have said they're ready
01:15to extend a hand to other right-wing MPs.
01:19We'll go to the others and ask them, are you prepared to join us for a new government,
01:23for a new politics, yes or no?
01:25Are you prepared to give us a vote of confidence, are you prepared to vote for the budget?
01:30For now, Les Républicains are opposed to this.
01:33Senior Republican Party member Xavier Bertrand offers another solution, a government that
01:37represents all parties.
01:39Things have to change, politics has to change.
01:43This means a provisional government until the next presidential election at the latest.
01:47That will depend on the composition of the National Assembly and that's why I'm fighting
01:51for as many Republican MPs as I can.
01:54Sunday evening may see frantic negotiations unfold in the race to form a majority in parliament.
