00:05took another turn as the National Bureau of Investigation, or NBI,
00:09has come up with a result on the local chief executive's fingerprint that most probably
00:14many did not expect. With this result, the agency admits further investigation needs to be done
00:20to eventually get to the truth. Why? Luisa Erizpe reveals in this report.
00:26The National Bureau of Investigation revealed today that the 2005 Alice Leal Guo is clearly
00:34different from the current Mayor of Bamban, Tarlac, Alice Guo. This after they confirmed
00:40that the fingerprint examination of the 2005 Alice Guo did not match with the fingerprints
00:45of Mayor Guo. According to the NBI, this only signifies that Alice Guo may be clearly Guo Ping.
00:53We have already established that Guo Wan Ping, a Chinese, and Mayor Alice is one and the same
01:02person. But the answer to the question remains a mystery. Who is Alice Leal Guo from 2005,
01:08and where is she? The NBI said they are still looking for information on her identity,
01:14but they cannot clearly say if this is a case of stolen identity.
01:22But the NBI believes, regardless of what they revealed today, this will not affect the cases
01:49to be filed by the COMELEC and the Office of the Solicitor General, as well as the ongoing
01:54investigation in the Senate. However, the Commission on Elections said this may be of
02:00use for their case build-up, so they will be requesting this information from the NBI.
02:05They will also examine the fingerprints of Alice Guo from 2005 in the registration database.
02:19The NBI, on the other hand, is ready to pass or relay these documents to the COMELEC.
02:50Meanwhile, the Senate also revealed today of another discovery or disclosure from the NBI.
02:56According to Senator Wynn Gatchalian, the brother of Alice Guo, named Wesley Guo,
03:01is allegedly a Chinese passport holder. This, after his fingerprint matched with certain Guo
03:07Xingdian, which was registered with the Bureau of Immigration as a dependent son of Lin Wenyi,
03:13brother of Guo Ping. According to Senator Wynn Gatchalian, this clearly states that the two
03:18individuals abused the late registration process in the Philippines and misrepresented themselves
03:24as Filipinos. As of now, Mayor Guo and her brother have yet to comment on the allegations

03:38This just in, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian confirms they found out that Guo Xingdian has a current
03:44Chinese passport set to expire next year. He used both his Chinese and Philippine passport
03:50interchangeable from 2003 onwards.
