Watch as Richard Petty speeds to his 200th and final NASCAR Cup Series win before he retired in 1992. The Firecracker 400 was watched live in front of 80,000 including President Ronald Reagan.

00:00It's a sunny Independence Day in Daytona Beach, Florida.
00:04President Ronald Reagan calling the start.
00:07Gentlemen, start your engines.
00:13And they take the green flag. They're going off on lap one.
00:16Yarbrough holding his lead on the inside of the track.
00:19Car number eight, Bobby Hillen Jr. as he came out of turn two and lost control.
00:23Exciting racing as they go toward turn two. Earnhardt and Yarbrough.
00:28Richard Petty has taken the lead in car 43.
00:31Cale Yarbrough in 28 chasing him.

00:37And a car is spun out. Doug Hebron's car is spun out in turn one.
00:41So now the yellow caution flag may be coming out.
00:44This will perhaps be the last lap of the race.
00:48You are allowed to race to the line once the yellow has come out.
00:51Coming down the front straight. Here they are. Sam, they will come across the yellow line.
