00:00The bus driver was hit by a reclaimed murder when he ran into his traffic enforcer in Dasmariñas, Cavite.

00:07We have first the news of Jamie Santos.

00:13In this CCTV footage, you can see a bus passing by on the right.

00:19When the bus stopped, a man was seen on the back of the bus.

00:24The incident happened in front of a mall in Barangay Sampalucuan, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

00:30Based on the police investigation, the driver of the bus was hit by a traffic enforcer

00:36due to a no-loading traffic violation.

00:39But instead of stopping, the driver quickly ran away,

00:43which is why the driver was hit by the enforcer.

00:46They had an argument with the driver.

00:48He refused to receive the ticket that was given to him and at the same time, he refused to give his driver's license.

00:57So what he did was, when the traffic enforcer approached him, he moved his vehicle until he hit the traffic enforcer and he was still able to move it.

01:09The traffic enforcer is dead on the spot.

01:12The suspect ran away, but he was caught in a follow-up operation.

01:17The Dasmariñas City Traffic Management Unit is concerned about the state of their companion who is just doing his job.

01:26He didn't do anything wrong. He's just doing his job.

01:29Why did he treat our companion like a dog?

01:34Like that, he left his children when they were still small.

01:38What about the family that he left?

01:41It's very saddening. We feel bad for the drivers who are so angry because we also have family members.

01:52The suspect is facing charges.

01:55We filed a murder case and Article 275, the abandonment of assistance.

02:02There's an intention behind it. That's why we filed a murder case against the suspect.

02:09The suspect who is now in custody at the Dasmariñas City Police Custodial Facility is no longer a threat to us.
