We use the PS to talk about: FACTS and ROUTINES We use the PC to talk about: something happening NOW (at the moment of speaking) or for a PLANNED FUTURE EVENT ✏️ Words that show us we need the PS: ALWAYS, USUALLY, OFTEN, SOMETIMES, RARELY, NEVER ✏️ Words that show us we need the PC: NOW, RIGHT NOW, AT THE MOMENT, TOMORROW, NEXT WEEK, TONIGHT ✏️ We build the PC by using a form of the verb TO BE + (VERB)ING EX: I AM EATING a pizza right now.
