00:00So would you mind telling us what the petition is that you've put into Timmel today?

00:05So basically we are petitioning government to set up a committee to look at noise surrounding the wind turbines.

00:16So if we're going down this green pathway, there is no legislation currently in the Isle of Man that protects the public

00:25from a multitude of issues surrounding commercial wind farms, but in particular the noise issue.

00:32Are you concerned at the speed that the project is going up? Do you think it's a bit of a concern?

00:36I think it is because we've had six weeks of sound monitoring, none of them were at the residents' properties.

00:47And so that whole project really needs, they need to look at it in detail and I'm hoping that this committee

00:54will realise that there's some serious issues for the Isle of Man and for taxpayers if they go forward

01:01with a project that's not been assessed fully.
