00:29have all been to the zoo, and each of you has your favorite animals. But do you know
00:34what happened here at night behind closed doors? I'm Valentin Shchukin, the lead game
00:38designer of the Zoocauses game, and I invite you to become a night zookeeper.
00:44Zoocauses is a horror story with simulation elements. You play the role of a zookeeper,
00:48it's your first night shift. You will have to uncover the sinister and dark secrets of
00:53this zoo, integrated into the game's storyline. Meanwhile, your duties include taking care
01:09of the animals, preparing their food, feeding them, cleaning their enclosures. The most
01:14important thing is to monitor their health to ensure they don't die.
01:20The body camera serves as a witness to the events, it's tightly integrated into the
01:24game's story. The setting of the game is very different from a regular zoo.
01:29You will have to move between gloomy enclosures on a special train. The train is equipped
01:34with everything necessary for animal care and observation. A trolley with gadgets that
01:39will help you collect samples and data of the animals' health. A veterinary station
01:45for creating meds to help sick animals recover. They will be grateful to you for this.
01:54Your time is limited. Some animals are infected with an unknown parasite. It turns cute creatures
02:00into dangerous monsters. You need to investigate, examine the animals and collect their samples
02:06to prepare a special cure. The monsters are dangerous to the player and to other animals
02:12in the enclosure. The game's non-linear storyline contains multiple endings, not all of them
02:18positive. Your choices will affect your life and the lives of other characters and animals.
