00:00Similarly, when Hazrat Amr ibn al-Azm was the governor of Egypt,
00:06because Hazrat Amr had made great achievements during his time as a leader of Khilafat,
00:13he established approximately 1,036 new mosques.
00:21And similarly, he built approximately 4,000 new mosques.
00:28And among them, he made arrangements for Khudaba, Aima, and Wudars.
00:35Similarly, he established a system of justice.
00:39Similarly, he divided his country into provinces.
00:43Now, the government had been established on 22 square miles.
00:49During the time of Hazrat Amr,
00:51Egypt, Syria, Iraq, Kurdistan, Armenia, and Tabriz were conquered during the time of Hazrat Amr.
01:05On the day of Khandaq, Hazrat Amr said,
01:07Allah has given me the keys to these countries.
01:21This was a sign that these countries will be conquered.
01:24So, the glory of Allah is that the decree of Hazrat Amr was fulfilled and the country was conquered.
01:31And then, Hazrat Amr sent governors everywhere.
01:35And he also instructed the governors that there should be no barriers at their doors and no one should be stopped from meeting them.
01:44They should wear simple clothes and eat simple food so that no one should feel that they are poor and the governors are eating deliciously.
01:53Hazrat Amr bin Raaz was the governor of Egypt.
01:58Some people came to him from Egypt.
02:02They said that it is our custom that on the 11th day of Muharram,
02:09a young unmarried girl,
02:14who was completely covered in jewelry,
02:16should be buried in the blue sea.
02:28If we do not do this, there will be no water in the blue sea.
02:33Now that Islam has come, what should we do?
02:39They said that this is a very important issue.
02:42I will take advice from Hazrat Amr bin Raaz.
02:48He sent a message.
02:51Hazrat Amr bin Raaz said to Qadam,
02:54Write a letter from Abdullahi Umar Abdul Khattab to the blue sea.
03:01Hazrat Amr bin Raaz instructs the people of the blue sea,
03:04If you walk by your own will, then do not walk at all.
03:12And if you walk by the command of Allah, then walk.
03:23Hazrat Amr bin Raaz said that when my letter arrives, take it to the blue sea.
03:28The sea is water.
03:31If you put that letter in the water, it will be destroyed.
03:36But this is the letter of Umar,
03:39whom you are addressing even on the seas.
03:42Hazrat Amr bin Raaz said that I took a few companions and put that letter in the middle of the sea.
03:53In one night, 16 gaz of water rose.
03:58So much water has never come to the blue sea in my life.
04:02And it is the glory of Allah that the blue sea has not been closed since the letter of Hazrat Umar.
04:09That is why Allama Iqbal said that the sea is water, we have not even left the sea.
04:17We have run the horses in the sea.
