00:00My name's Sam Littlechild, a.k.a. The Jersey Juggernaut.
00:07I train outside of Second City, King's Standing Boxing Club, and I'm working towards my professional
00:14debut in September.
00:17The passion initially grew from my old man when I was living in Jersey, just putting
00:21on the gloves, doing a bit of pad work.
00:23It was just more of a hobby, keep fit, try not to play outside of school really, so it
00:27was kind of a good place for me to be.
00:28I remember watching the likes of Muhammad Ali, Moulton Olsen, and a spark was just set
00:33from that.
00:34I just fell in love with the sport and the discipline, you know, nothing competes with
00:37it.
00:38It means so much to me.
00:39So I won the National Developments in 2022, I had a good string of contests, and straight
00:43after that I've competed in the Haringey Boxing Club down in London in the Alley Pally against
00:48some national lads.
00:49Ever since then I've just always been focused on turning professional and developing as
00:54a fighter, really working towards the biggest challenges I can have.
00:58The sponsorship is very important because it allows you to really fund a lot of different
01:02things, whether that's fuel to get to sparring, or supplementation, recovery, it all comes
01:07together.
01:08It's very important.
01:09Having that sponsorship, you can make it full-time, and that's what every pro really wants, give
01:12it all hours of the day.
01:13At the end of the day, they're the lads that become the best.
01:17I'd want them to be a part of a very exciting journey.
01:20I've seen a local lad pursue his dreams and be a part of that journey really, and then
01:25build a relationship and benefit them as well as me.
01:29Boxing's my life.
01:30I give it everything.
01:31It's more than just a hobby.
01:32It's a lifestyle.
01:33I'll see myself doing it for many years to come.
