The search for a missing Lake Macquarie man in New South Wales continues for a second day. Luke Smith has been missing since Saturday night when the boat he was in capsized near the Swansea Channel. Lillian Watkins reports from Swansea.

00:06Smith continues today.
00:08Now it's understood Mr Smith went overboard on Saturday night after the boat he was in
00:12with three other friends capsized after hitting a marker buoy.
00:15Three of the young men were picked up by a passing vessel and taken to safety on shore.
00:20One of them was taken to hospital and treated for hypothermia while the captain of the vessel
00:24was taken to hospital as well but for mandatory testing.
00:28Now search efforts continued yesterday and have ramped up again today despite the foggy
00:32and cold conditions.
00:34The family of Luke Smith have remained on site since Saturday night sitting vigil to
00:38hear any word of Luke.
00:40They've thanked the community for their support saying that they've been showered with pizza,
00:44coffee and other shows of community love.
00:46They've also thanked the search and rescue teams for their continuous effort.
