00:00Here with Billy Scott, the crew chief for the number 45 of Tyler Reddick.
00:03So close to a win here in Chicago.
00:05But first, the strategy on pit road.
00:07How did you call this race throughout the changing conditions?
00:11The first part was a lot of just up to the drivers, what they felt.
00:15Everybody ended up on the same deal.
00:17There at the end, it was just a matter of how we thought the cautions might fall.
00:21We took the gamble that it would get dry enough.
00:24We were all watching lap times closely and obviously, congrats to the 48 on that call
00:28that worked out, and a lot of those guys that made the gamble to stay out on wets had
00:34been running far back in the field, not contending.
00:36So we were of the point of, you're going for the win, staying aggressive, getting slicks
00:42with those we were competing against all day and trying to race them through the field.
00:46And that part went well, just came up a little short.
00:49You mentioned watching those lap times.
00:51How many more laps did your driver need to go after a win?
00:54None.
