Four Senior House Democrats Urge President Biden to Withdraw as Biden Remains Determined to Stay in the Race

Four senior House Democrats told House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries during a Zoom meeting that President Biden should withdraw from the 2024 presidential race. Reps. Jim Himes, Don Beyer, and Jamie Raskin also expressed skepticism about Biden's electoral chances during the meeting. Rep. Angie Craig also recently called for Biden to withdraw from the race, adding to pressure on the president from his own party. Biden remained resolute in his plans to stay in the race in an interview with ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos on Friday.
