00:00As we wind down this conversation,
00:01I want to circle back to where we started,
00:03which is this $100 million campaign, which
00:05you unveiled this week.
00:07What has been the early reaction to the campaign?
00:10Is the number of dollars increasing already?
00:13Have you seen more financial support
00:15as you've come out with this?
00:17The most exciting thing for me is
00:19that we have seen so many organizations that
00:21want to be a part of it.
00:23We started with nine organizations
00:25on the executive committee.
00:26We quickly grew our steering committee to over 25.
00:30There are folks all over this country
00:31from a wide range of entry points
00:34to this movement who want to be a part of this.
00:36That includes young people, Black women, Latinas,
00:38API folks.
00:39That includes providers.
00:41That includes folks who have seen from all different angles
00:44how harmful abortion bans are.
00:46So I expect we're going to continue to grow
00:49and continue to build a mass movement to demand
00:52an end to abortion bans.
00:54We've covered a lot of ground from this $100 million
00:57campaign to abortion ballot initiatives
00:59to recent Supreme Court decisions.
01:01But is there anything else, Kimberly, that is on your radar
01:04right now when it comes to reproductive health access
01:06and equity that you wish to share with the Forbes audience?
01:10I think we need to keep in mind that the conservative agenda
01:13includes what goes so far beyond abortion bans.
01:16They have started to show their cards in things
01:18like Project 2025, which clearly articulates
01:21an agenda that is anti-abortion, anti-contraception,
01:24anti-IVF.
01:26They do not want us to be able to plan and build
01:28our families on our own terms.
01:30So whether abortion is a motivating issue for you,
01:33whether it's contraception, whether it's
01:35fertility treatment, the other side's agenda is clear.
01:40They want to stop us from controlling our lives,
01:42our bodies, our families.
01:44And we on the side of reproductive justice
01:46plan to stop them.
01:48Kimberly Inez McGuire, thank you so much for joining us
01:51and explaining this all.
01:52We really appreciate your time.
01:53Thank you so much, Maggie.
01:54I appreciate it.
