00:00A car from Rent Tangay Modus was sold to a police officer in Iloilo City.

00:06Aileen Pedrezo of GMA Regional TV has a report.

00:13On June 29, a couple rented a car from the Rent-a-Car Services of Christine Poneles in Iloilo City.

00:20They agreed to meet for 24 hours.

00:23But after 3 days, the car was still not returned to them.

00:29Christine went to the hotel where the suspects were staying.

00:35There, she discovered the names and IDs that were given to her.

00:40Her car was also sold.

00:42And what she bought was a police car.

00:59What's more shocking is that the police and her husband sold their car

01:06to buy the car that the suspects were renting for P365,000.

01:12Now, the car was returned to Christine.

01:14GMA Integrated News tried to get hold of the police officer who bought the car

01:19but he did not give a statement.

01:22The police told the public

01:29to consider the price of the car.
