00:00And happy to welcome Sebastian Rulli, who is part of the People family in Spanish.
00:10How are you?
00:11Thank you very much, very well, very happy.
00:14You are free because a few days ago we saw you, something very important happened with your beard.
00:21That's right, correct, I got rid of the chiva.
00:24You got rid of the chiva.
00:26But before that, first I want to congratulate you because you are again part of this list of the 50 most beautiful.
00:32I remember a few years ago we met here in New York, you came to the party.
00:37Many things have happened, many things have changed.
00:40What does not change is your talent, what does not change is your popularity, what does not change is your presence.
00:45That is why you are again on this list, of course.
00:49And well, now you also have this great project of the strange return of Diana Salazar.
00:56Tell us, number one, how do you feel about returning to this list of People in Spanish of the 50 most beautiful?
01:03Because it is not every day and I think it still has a special place, right?
01:09Of course.
01:10How does it feel for you?
01:12Well, first of all, it is a great honor.
01:14Since always, since the first time they invited me to participate in this magazine in general.
01:21And then with the issue of the 50 most beautiful, even more.
01:24So, above all, I am very grateful to you and to the public.
01:29Because it is clear to me that if it were not for what you say, popularity and continuing with affection would be impossible.
01:36So, well, very honored, very grateful and very happy.
01:40That generates in me even more enthusiasm to continue doing what I do.
01:45To spread this so beautiful thing that is acting, that is to continue participating in so many stories that move, that reach the heart.
01:59Keep giving my best in this passionate career.
02:03And I was thinking how many fashions have passed through television, right?
02:07There are like times of super series, of narcos, of drama, of thriller.
02:14But what remains is those stories that touch our hearts.
02:19That you have been able to interpret so well, so masterfully, that people obviously want more.
02:26And I was watching a post that you put last October, I don't know if you remember, about the 10 years of what life stole from me.
02:34And you put some very nice photos and you said, and I'm going to quote,
02:38A very strong and exciting story that I enjoyed like no other.
02:42Alejandro Monte, one of my favorite characters in my career.
02:46You also added the carnita, right? That you worked there with Angelic Boyer.
02:52That's where that seed of love started to grow.
02:55Then they worked in theater and other things.
02:58How do you see that Sebastián Rulli from 10 years ago, when he played that soap opera?
03:05Versus the Sebastián Rulli who is today in the strange return of Diana Salazar and other projects you have.
03:12Well, very realized.
03:14As you say, time goes by.
03:16The world of entertainment is mutating, changing.
03:21And the melodrama or love stories are the ones that are still in force.
03:26And that makes me very proud to be part of this magical world that has led Mexico to become known in the world.
03:35To be able to connect with so many people from something that is a universal language, love.
03:45I have also had to travel through different stages.
03:49And of all, I feel very free and above all very proud to have been able to transmit something more than just a story.
04:02I also think we connect with the characters.
04:04And yes, 10 years ago I was in a very important moment.
04:11It was a moment of transition in my life.
04:14And very strong things happened in that soap opera, in that story.
04:20Both fiction and personal.
04:23Especially for Angelique, which was a very hard time for her.
04:27Where she was suffering a lot from her mother and then she died.
04:31So, I'm not saying that was the reason.
04:37But hey, it was an important point that obviously, having been there in that hard moment, connected us in another way.
04:47It made us know each other in another way.
04:49And well, it strengthened the relationship that was of friendship, a little closer.
04:55And then over time it became what it is.
04:59What can I tell you?
05:00Time passes, I still don't believe it.
05:03I still don't believe it.
05:04I also feel that this is part of success.
05:06Not believing it, because in the end it is something very ephemeral that can last what a sigh.
05:12And maybe you can stay in people's hearts or in memory.
05:16But life goes on.
05:18And so, it's very strange to live with that.
05:23I'm not saying it's a permanent illusion to be successful.
05:29But it's very nice to feel that every step you take is a little firmer than another.
05:37Hey, thank you very much.
05:39Congratulations again for being in the 50 most beautiful people in Spanish of 2024.
05:44Congratulations for the telenovela.
05:47Thank you.
05:48And see you soon again.
05:49So be it.
05:50Congratulations to you too for always being at the top.
