00:00And this year, on the 23rd, 29th of May, we have achieved a daily ridership of one million, per day.

00:09But in terms of ridership, in terms of the use of public transportation, especially MRT,

00:15I would like to explain what was reported in the state headquarters,

00:20they have taken a few examples that may not be quite accurate in terms of context.

00:29Because what was reported was that the usage was only 10% of the target.

00:36That was in 2021. 2021 is the era of the COVID pandemic.

00:43And at that time, there was a continuous lockdown for months.

00:48So many people could not move.

00:50Of course, when there is a lockdown, the use of MRT 1 and MRT 2 and all public transportation

00:56will decrease.

00:58So we look at this graph.

01:00If we look at this graph, in 2019, the average daily usage for MRT 1 reached 205,000 for MRT 2.

01:09But it decreased in 2020 and also in 2021 to 61,000 only, on average, every day.

01:16But after COVID passed, the average usage has increased again.

01:22In 2022, the average usage was 139,000.

01:26In 2023, the average usage was 204,000.

01:29And at this time, in this year, the average usage was almost 240,000 every day.

01:35And if we look at the average usage, every day now, the usage of railways in Lembah Kelang,

01:42including MRT 1, MRT 2, LRT Kerala Jaya Leng, LRT Ampang Leng, and Monorail Leng,

01:50all 5 modes of railways have recorded almost 950,000, on average, every day.

01:58950,000 ridership daily.

02:01And this year, on May 29, we reached a daily ridership of 1 million, every day.

02:09So, on average, it's more or less 950,000, daily.

02:14Consistently, we look at the top 5 lines.

02:20So, for me, this is a good sign.

02:23And we have certainly taken into account the criticisms from the State Audit Report

02:29and also the views of many people for us to improve.

02:33That's why both MRT Korp and Prasarana were given a mission to increase our savings

02:42and also, most importantly, to increase ridership.
