00:00Yes, so this is our second Danny vs Dan golf day.
00:07So one of us is a major winner, that's Danny Willett of course, and we get together with
00:12lots of friends of ours and people who've paid to be here, sponsors, loads of celebs
00:18have turned up as well, and then we just try and raise as much money as we can for the
00:21Children's Hospital.
00:22I know people in Sheffield are well aware of how fantastic and how proud we all are
00:27of the Children's Hospital, and that's sort of the, all the banners are the Children's
00:31Hospital charity, but underneath that we're trying to raise awareness for Bright Young
00:34Dreams as well.
00:35If anybody doesn't know, that's myself, John Richardson, Jessica Ennis-Hill, we've got
00:41our collective heads together and try to come up with a way of supporting our young people
00:48to make sure that their mental health becomes a bit more of a priority, because it's a real
00:52issue for so many young people across the country, and it started in Sheffield but we're
00:56trying to share it with the rest of the world.
00:58It's a wonderful charity that makes a real difference.
01:01If you go to that hospital, whether you're there visiting, having a look around, or going
01:05to the A&E, or going to see some of the people who unfortunately have to spend far too much
01:11time there, all the staff are amazing, the facilities aren't as good as they could be,
01:16I'd probably say that for any hospital, and all we're trying to do is make sure the quality
01:19of the care is as, the quality of the facilities matches the quality of the care, and we just
01:24hope that more people know about the charity, and everyone here today has a great time and
01:29gives us a lot of money.
01:30I probably can assure you that Danny will win, but I will be smiling at the end, whatever
01:35happens.
01:36As long as I get off the first tee, I'll be alright, I'll be okay.
01:39There's no pressure, is there?
01:41It's mainly about the day, and it is mainly about the day.
01:44You know, there's some people who take golf a lot more seriously than anyone else, but
01:48this is for the children and things like that, because it's such a worthy charity, you know,
01:53it's to give people a chance who haven't got to our age as such, and you know, to make
01:58them better and what have you, so I couldn't think of a better charity, to be honest.
02:03I got into golf about three years ago to compete with the Transplant Games, so I'm a big fan
02:10and a big lover of golf, it's fantastic, and it's just a privilege to be able to play golf
02:15and hopefully raise money for charity.
02:17I try and do whatever I can to help raise money and awareness of the charity itself,
02:22and anything they ask me to do, I'll say yes to.
