Orbán was in the US to attend this week’s NATO summit, but met Trump as part of his own ‘Peace Mission 5.0’ - a plan to broker talks between Russia and Ukraine.
But the European Union says Orbán’s plan falls foul of the bloc’s commitment to unify foreign policy between member states.
