00:00Magnus, you had the perfect plan this morning but it didn't quite go as expected.

00:08Take us through your day.

00:10We quickly got into that big breakaway that I hoped for and the only bad thing was Adam

00:19Yates from UAE and unfortunately he had strong team orders to stay in that group.

00:25I tried to talk with him along with everybody else in that group but I also respect him

00:30for sitting there and I understand the team's tactics and eventually I wanted to split that

00:36group because I felt he was the one keeping the bunch behind chasing us and unfortunately

00:42we only got away four guys and that was not enough to make it to the finish.

00:46Plus the wind was blowing and there was so much action there.

00:50It must have been insanely hectic behind and even in the breakaway when the bunch called

00:57us again.

00:58It was a very hard day, it's probably one of the hardest days I've had in just three

01:03and a half hours.

01:04A short day but a hard one.

01:06And still enjoyable to be able to go on the podium of the Tour de France for a prize like

01:11this one.

01:12Yeah, I mean I dreamed of being there for the stage win, that was the ultimate goal

01:18when we started this morning but it's always nice to go on the podium of course.
