00:00Welcome to today's quick grounding meditation.
00:08Whenever you feel overloaded, anxious, or fearful, take some time to play this meditation,
00:17which will help you to recharge and decompress.
00:23Let's begin by sitting in a comfortable position and taking a few deep breaths to relax your
00:30body.
00:33First nice deep breath in, holding it at the top of the breath for a moment, and then release.
00:45Another nice long deep breath, breathing in that nice oxygen, and exhale.
00:58One more nice deep breath from your belly, and another nice slow long exhale.
01:14Feel your body starting to relax, the stillness and the ease as the tension begins to melt away.
01:33There's nothing for you to do and nothing to be.
01:39Just breathe and relax.
01:52When thoughts come, let them drift by like clouds in the sky.
02:00Do not attach to them.
02:04Focus on slowly inhaling and then slowly exhaling.
02:22Feel the stress leaving your body as you connect to a sense of serenity.
02:40And now, in this tranquil inner space, visualize a large tree with a wide, strong trunk that
02:52extends down the center of your body from head to toe.
03:07Take a few moments to feel its power and vibrant energy.
03:22And now visualize the tree's roots growing from the bottom of your feet and rooting down
03:30into the ground, making their way deeper and deeper, creating a comforting sense of strength and power.
03:57Rooting yourself in this way provides an inner strength that will keep you centered
04:04and protected when life gets overwhelming.
04:14Sit now for a few more moments in this feeling of strength and power.
04:39And now gently and slowly taking another nice, deep breath in, and as you exhale, in your
04:50own time, allowing your eyes to open, and continue to feel this sensation of grounding,
05:02bringing it, with its strength and power, to your outer world, knowing that you can
05:10use this visualization to anchor yourself whenever you get thrown off balance.
05:20Thanks for joining me today for this meditation.
05:24Namaste.
