Ukrainians in France protest against Russian athletes taking part in Olympics

Dozens of protesters, mainly Ukrainians living in France, gathered in central Paris to remember Ukrainian athletes who were killed in the conflict ahead of the Olympic Games being hosted in the French capital.

Organized by the Union of Ukrainians in France (UUF), protesters wore T-shirts with the names of 450 athletes who lost there lives due to the invasion of Ukraine by Russia, the UUF said in a press release.

Some protesters were against the neutral participation of Russian athletes in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games starting at the end of July.
