00:00I am here to continue the discussion on the 355 Movement.
00:22Last week, I was with the former MKI Chairman,
00:27His Excellency Sultan Nazrin Perak Darul Atuan.
00:32Both of them agreed with the initial draft
00:37drafted by the Chief Executive Officer
00:41and delivered by Dr Naim.
00:45But we want it to be thoroughly investigated.
00:52Because if we draft it,
00:54it will be a solid document
00:57approved by all countries,
01:01by the Mufti and the scholars.
01:04In fact, I have asked Dr Naim and Dr Hakim
01:08to try to explain and ask for the views of international Islamic law experts.
01:14Because this document must be an important document
01:18that can be investigated by international experts.
01:23This is not an excuse to ignore or underestimate the past efforts.
01:29In fact, we have benefited a little,
01:32but there are some major weaknesses in the provisions.
01:36Because it is not only referred to the State Council,
01:40but it must also be referred to international experts.
01:44So that when we introduce this,
01:46this is the best example of the implementation of a document.
01:52The efforts to establish Islamic law
01:55in the context of a country like this
01:59can then be used as a guide,
02:03to be aligned between the position and strength of the Syriac court and the civil court.
02:09And besides that,
02:11to see what are some of the characteristics or definitions of the civil court
02:15that apparently violated the concept of Islamic law.
02:19This is what we call true Islam.
02:21So it cannot be seen from the point of view of Islamic law,
02:25the Syriac court, and other opinions.
02:28Therefore, I explain that understanding must be comprehensive
02:33and discussions must also be involved.
02:36Not only the Syriac court, but also the civil court,
02:39and the courts and judges,
02:42especially the head of state judges and judges on the right,
02:46in the civil court.
02:49So that the understanding is more comprehensive.
02:53And I would like to thank Dr. Naim
02:57for leading this process.
03:00And Mr. Sultan Nazrin for his willingness to discuss
03:05in the meeting at the end of August,
03:09the Islamic Development Conference.
03:14This means that there are changes,
03:17and there is willingness.
03:18And I hope that friends from all countries and all sectors
03:23see this in a positive way.
03:26And I have also instructed to discuss with everyone.
03:29Who really has expertise and skills,
03:32regardless of where they are from,
03:36let's discuss,
03:39discuss,
03:41so that there is a process.
03:44And I have asked for permission to refer to all views,
03:49agree or not, or a proposal to move.
03:52But after that, it was lifted.
03:54I think after the MKI meeting in August,
03:57we have to raise it to the international level,
04:00and we can invite some experts,
04:02especially from abroad,
04:04to come and discuss together.
04:07So in August,
04:09God willing, we will discuss.
04:12But of course, it cannot be terminated,
04:14because in my discussion with Mr. Sultan Peah,
04:20it should be lifted to the international level,
04:24referred back,
04:25before it is referred to the Ministry of State Affairs,
04:29and then to the Malay King's Assembly,
04:33on the issue of Islam, customs,
04:36and the issue of citizenship,
04:39must get approval from the Malay King's Assembly.
04:45So far, I have not seen any objections or problems,
04:51from the head of state judges,
04:53who have approved this effort,
04:56and also the Malay King's Assembly,
04:58which has been given the initial instructions,
05:00which gave the approval,
05:02I only request that it be investigated,
05:06so that it is not seen as a hoax,
05:09or seen as a weakness of the state.
05:13I have also been informed about
05:15the registration of the Shariah judges.
05:19Now it is included in the usual PTD scheme.
05:23So, God willing,
05:26I ask Mr. Naeem to move,
05:28so that the registration of the Shariah judges
05:32can be increased.
05:39It is easy for me.
05:40I just need to vote and it is done.
