02:31or they're going to fade.

04:29You notice the man had Rip Rogers in a flurry.

04:47the world tag team champions or the U.S. champions.

04:54And, of course, we will have that battle a little bit later on
04:57for the world tag title between those two teams.

05:01You know, right now, the young Pistol in the ring right there,
05:04he's got the hold on the man, but he should have did his best not to let him tag.
05:08He should have tagged out immediately.

05:11So Joe Cassana comes in doing a lot of talking.
05:14Great conditioning, apparent, with the young Pistols now.

05:20Well, Steve finds himself in the neutral corner of the shortcut.

10:03but right now I want to talk about the most explosive situation
10:06in world championship wrestling.
10:08And it comes off of a term, four words.
10:10I want the belt.
10:12Seven foot, seven inch, El Gigante has made a statement
10:15to the world champion nature boy, Ric Flair,
10:17that he wants to be the WCW world champion.
10:20Right now we're going to take a look at a situation
10:22which has developed between these two men,
10:24and then after that, some comments from the world champion himself.
10:29I want the belt.
10:31And of course the belt he's talking about
10:34is the belt held by the world's heavyweight champion,
10:38Hey, I told you, if you want the belt,
10:43you deal with me, pal.
10:46Not him, and not the public.

13:05We've been watching Dustin Rhodes on his quest to fill his father's shoes,
13:09and he's been aggressive, Tony, off the start.

13:13That's exactly right, and now Rhodes sends him in.
13:16Dustin, with a weight advantage,
13:18just shoots him right down with a great shoulder block
13:20and goes right to the arm now.
13:22Right back into the neutral corner, Rhodes, who's a veteran,
13:25trying to get to him and gets some blows in.
13:28A reversal into the corner.
13:30Dustin collars him in there with a great short arm, clothesline,
13:34and here he goes.
13:36A flying low at the time, and listen to the fans.
13:39You know, Pat Rhodes has been around,
13:41but I'm saying Dustin Rhodes is looking very impressive.
13:43He's been aggressive, and he caught him.
13:47He certainly did, off of the ropes.
13:50And now turns it around, Rhodes shoots him in.
13:53He catches him and met him.
13:56And it was an atomic drop.
13:58Here comes Dustin with the bulldog.

14:03He's got him hooked in the leg.

14:59because Alexandra York found beautiful Bobby a very rude individual.
15:02Bobby took exception to that,
15:04and he went to the ring to prove a point.
15:06And here's what happened.
15:07Here's the videotape.
15:09As Z-Man dropped him down on the top rope,
15:12and he's hollering up there at Z-something,
15:15Terry Taylor comes over and says,
15:17mind your own business in there.
15:20Terry Taylor started it, as you can see right there,
15:22smacking Bobby on the head.
15:23Well, no, he's not going to get away with that, Bobby.
15:26Oh, and Terry Taylor goes down to defeat.
15:31Wrestling fans, the following contest is set for one fall.
15:34Introducing first, from Jacksonville, Florida,
15:37at 241 pounds, Nature Boy Buddy Landale.

16:06Beautiful Bobby, who we just saw moments ago,
16:09got to turn the table, so to speak,
16:12on the computerized men of the 90s, Terry Taylor.

16:16I tend to agree with the York Foundation
16:18about Eaton's attitude of being rude.
16:20You know, walk up and slap some,
16:22but it's not a manly thing to do.
16:24All right, Bobby, who at one time,
16:26as we have heard before,
16:27was considered a potential candidate, that is,
16:32for the York Foundation.
16:34Man, he's not going to waste any time.
16:36He and Landale going right at it.
16:39Snap there, takedown.
16:41And beautiful Bobby looking out in the face.
16:43Look at this, right on top of the head.
16:45You know, he caught Buddy Landale off guard,
16:47but again, not with a wrestling move,
16:49but with a pop in the face.
16:51Now, that is not a manly thing to do.
16:53You haven't done that before?
16:55I don't walk up and pop stuff.
16:56I just pick him up and beat the...
16:58All right, combination rows here into the corner.
17:01Landale's going to shoot him on the outside.
17:04So Landale wants to take the low road early on in this match,
17:07and here we go, and it's locked.
17:08You know, I think, to disagree with you,
17:10Eaton started the low blow of the match approach,
17:13and both of these men know how to fight fire with fire.
17:16They're both veterans.
17:17They're not going to take any gun from each other.
17:20Right to the knee, hip toss.
17:22Beautiful Bobby with great sense of timing right there,
17:25catching Landale, and apparently,
17:27the blow to the outside post did not faze him that much.
17:31He saw Landale coming.
17:33He moved.
17:34Landale may be in trouble the remainder of the match here, Larry,
17:37and this is a real Donnybrook.
17:41Back in, both men here.
17:43Randy Anderson, the referee.
17:44I say, Bobby Eaton's just standing there.
17:46If I was Bobby Eaton, I would have been all over Landale.
17:48Sorry about that.
17:50York Foundation may be right.
17:51Maybe Bobby Eaton doesn't have it anymore,
17:53and he's stooping to being rude.
17:54But he's showing a little bit of footwork.

19:30You know, it's no secret, Alexandra York has been talking to Buddy Landale.
19:34We know the animosities right here are growing,
19:36but the way this match started, Tony, this could go either way.

20:19From what we saw earlier, Bobby even slapping Terry Taylor in the face.
20:22You really can't blame the man.

20:25Both men working on beautiful Bobby.

20:36He's coming in to take on both Taylor and Landale.

20:46Now, Taylor had a legitimate gripe running in there, Tony.

20:51Oh, and Bobby decks the Z-Man.
20:53And what did Eaton hit the Z-Man for?
20:55Incredible turn of events here on La Probe.

21:04And Bobby wanted no part of his help at all.
21:08That is what the York Foundation is talking about.
21:10Bobby Eaton completely unpredictable, very, very rude.
21:15I don't understand that whatsoever.
21:17Tremendous win for beautiful Bobby over the nature boy, Buddy Landale.
21:21And what a wild scene at the end.
21:23Z-Man looks like he's wondering where he is.
21:27Here's beautiful Bobby rising up.
21:29Right here you'd think a man would say thanks.
21:32Boom, caught him right in the throat.
21:35And knocked him down.
21:36I'm not so sure Bobby knew who attacked him or not.
21:39He was just reacting maybe.
21:40But fans, more to come on a wild hour so far on La Probe.
21:47You know, I recently had a visit with Alexandria York,
21:50this very charming and very brainy girl who is now the whiz with computers.
21:55She's the one who has developed Terry Taylor into a computerized wrestler.
21:59And let me tell you something.
22:00She's turned him around 180 degrees personality-wise in that ring
22:04from what was more or less a kind of a toned-down young man
22:07to a kind of a villainous character.
22:09But a winner.
22:10That's the whole point.
22:11He's winning.
22:12He's knocking him off right and left.
22:14And Alexandria says don't be surprised if someday,
22:17someday you see two computerized wrestlers wrestling for the world championship.
22:24It's entirely possible the way this computer world, of course, is developing.
22:27And this is another breakthrough as far as we're concerned in the world of wrestling.
22:31As a matter of fact, don't be surprised,
22:33Alexandria tells us if one of these days you also see a computerized tag team match.
22:38Now, I personally would really look forward to that one.
22:41That ought to be a lot of fun.
22:43This is Jack Brickhouse with another Brickhouse Bonus.
22:59World championship wrestling is about to take on a new look.
23:03I've been laying in the weeds kind of sitting in the back seat for a little bit too long.
23:08Now, there's a few people around world championship wrestling
23:12that aren't going to like the things that I have in mind.
23:15I got a few ambitions and there's a few people standing in my way.
23:19And I'm the kind of guy that doesn't take a back seat and like it.
23:23When I'm back there, it's by choice.
23:26So all these people with these championships,
23:30the United States heavyweight championship,
23:33the world heavyweight championship,
23:36and even the tag championships,
23:38if I can find a partner that's worthy of tagging with me,
23:42I'm going to show up with something that's going to shock the wrestling world.
23:47And when I become the champ,
23:50people are going to take notice and things are going to start changing
23:54because I am going to start doing exactly what I say.

24:13Alright, Barry Wyndham in singles competition against Terry Bronson in this event.
24:17Barry Wyndham, who has certainly been one of the most successful athletes ever in world championship wrestling.
24:23Very serious now about his ambitions and his goals in world championship wrestling.
24:29I think people better take note of that.
24:31Well, Barry Wyndham, he's a great wrestling technician. He's a natural athlete.
24:35He's been around. I mean, the man's a veteran. And he's big!
24:41Look at that quickness for a big guy. He missed that time.
24:44Bronson tries to pick him up. And that's the one advantage.
24:47A quick big man. And Bronson couldn't get him up.
24:50And Barry turns it into a belly-to-back suplex.
24:52A very agile big man, Tony.
24:57Wyndham now.
24:59Uppercut that time.
25:01Sending Bronson all the way to his own corner.
25:03Look at the way he takes his time and walks over to the man.
25:06He's in command of himself the whole time.
25:09That's when you get that confidence.
25:12There's no doubt in Barry Wyndham's mind that he can take this man.
25:16That's the confidence level you have to have.
25:18You have to have to be a champion. And Barry has all the tools.
25:22Good dropkick. I know that's an old cliche, but it really applies here to Barry Wyndham.
25:26Second-generation wrestler.
25:28That's a six-foot, six-inch man jumping off the ground, hitting another man six foot up.
25:33Let's not forget that Barry Wyndham knows what it's like to be a champion.
25:37He has been one-half of the world tag team champions.
25:39He has been the U.S. heavyweight champion, so he knows what it's like.
25:43A big scoop. And places him down nicely.
25:47Well, you can see the confidence in his face. The smile that time.
25:51Barry Wyndham loves wrestling.
25:53I don't care how much pain you're in. I don't care how hard it is to get out of bed in the morning.
25:57When you get in that ring, it's a different world.
