This weeks prediction for the Uk, by Nazaneen Ghaffar
Transcript
00:00Well, some good news on the horizon. After a soaking wet start to the week, it
00:05looks like Wednesday will be widely warm across much of the UK thanks to
00:09pressure building. But before then, low pressure still lingering and only slowly
00:13easing away on Tuesday across eastern parts of the UK. So this means cloudy
00:17skies, spells of rain and rather cool and blustery conditions for parts of
00:21Yorkshire and towards Lincolnshire and East Anglia as well. As well as that,
00:25there will be some thunderstorms developing around eastern parts of
00:28Scotland into the northeast of England. Some of these really will be torrential
00:32with the downpours and heavy and some showers scattered across parts of the
00:35Midlands and central southern England. But out towards the west of the UK, it
00:39will become increasingly drier, brighter and warmer throughout Tuesday. Wednesday
00:44sees widely warm and fine conditions. For many, there will be some good spells of
00:48sunshine developing, especially across England, Wales and eastern Scotland. So a
00:52warmer day than of late and mostly fine and dry. However, Northern Ireland and
00:57Western Scotland can expect to see cloudier skies and blustery conditions
01:01developing through the day with spells of rain there through the night.
