00:00It's an absolute honour to be recognised for my career, like everyone does their degree you go
00:06and hope that you know you get work thereafter so it just feels like an honour to celebrate
00:11something that I absolutely love and I've worked so hard towards but yeah to be back in person as
00:17well after all these years is so interesting. You're in this bubble when you're at university
00:22and you're having a great time and then when you're released you're sort of like you feel
00:25like you're on your own but what I would say to them is that you're not like if there's so many
00:29people you can reach out to back at the university the people that were doing the course with you
00:34are all in the same position so reach out to each other keep the connections and it's wild out there
00:40but it's so fun. I've always needed the help of education because I'm the only person that studied
00:45acting in my family so they didn't really know what to do with me so I've always relied on my
00:49education and then you get to somewhere like UCLan and they just really set you up for the future
00:54they give you all the tools that you need you know help you with the contacts and our relationship
00:59has continued thereafter like wherever we can we've helped one another so like I said before
01:04like you don't just do university and then you leave and you never hear from them again
01:07it's something that stays with you and I mean literally this is an example of it staying with you.
