00:00Muttadaa Ismail
00:07Our program is titled Shan-e-Hussain
00:11and with Qibla Nusrat Bukhari, this is our last program.
00:18You have seen two previous segments of this program.
00:21Today's program will be short, but the theme of the program will be the same,
00:25but the content will be a little different.
00:29The theme is what was the real purpose of Karbala?
00:33How did different characters of Karbala tell us about their relationship with God
00:38for my education?
00:41What is the lesson for me?
00:43How does this incident of Karbala bring us closer to God?
00:46But the content will be a little different.
00:48I would like to request Qibla.
00:50Look at the different tragedies of history.
00:54Karbala is the most tragic of all.
00:56This is the only aspect of it that is enough to be tragic.
00:59If a person has a tragedy with his family,
01:03we regret that it happened to him.
01:06If a person is the most respected person in a community,
01:09we regret that it happened to his family.
01:13The most respected personality of the universe,
01:16the universe of reason and creation,
01:17we regret that it happened to the family of the Messenger of Allah.
01:19To make it tragic, this aspect is enough.
01:22This was the family of the Messenger of Allah.
01:26Please educate me on this aspect as well.
01:30How did the incidents of Karbala bear witness?
01:35We keep hearing this.
01:36Please explain this aspect to us.
01:38I think this incident is different from the other incidents.
01:44The character of women in this incident.
01:46Otherwise, the character of women is seen from a different angle.
01:50The character of women in the battle.
01:52Ali's daughter, Zainab-e-Kubra, may Allah bless her.
01:55Imam Ali's sister, Zainab-e-Kubra, may Allah bless her.
01:58I heard from Ulema-e-Karam,
01:59that everything that happened in Karbala, it could have happened.
02:02But whatever Zainab-e-Kubra did, it wouldn't have happened.
02:05Then this story would have remained incomplete.
02:07She did something very very important.
02:10In the same way, another character,
02:12which we will talk about later,
02:13Imam Ali's nephew, Zainab-e-Zain-ul-Abideen.
02:18I heard that in many respects,
02:20his problem was not less than that of the martyrs of Karbala.
02:23Maybe it was more.
02:25Because he saw all that.
02:28And wherever the martyr went, his story ended.
02:32Imam-e-Zain-ul-Abideen also saw the future of it.
02:34Because it was more difficult than this.
02:36That a person's tongue trembles while saying it.
02:39A person cannot think about his own family,
02:41that there is a court, there is a market.
02:44There are the eyes of people.
02:47So first I would like to know about the character of Zainab-e-Zain-ul-Abideen.
02:52Then you will explain to us,
02:54how she has a relationship with God with this character.
02:57In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Ever Merciful.
02:59Verily, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return.
03:01It is the day of Ashura.
03:04It has certainly passed.
03:06The person whom the Messenger of God used to love very much,
03:15whom Bibi Zahra Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam found with great difficulty,
03:20today that person has sacrificed everything for the sake of God.
03:25The body of Karbala is lying scattered.
03:29And it is certainly a day of grief.
03:33It is a difficult day.
03:35But there, that character, that steadfastness,
03:42that there is a Persian couplet,
03:45that Karbala, Karbala meemand agar Zainab na bood.
03:49Karbala would have remained in Karbala,
03:52if Hazrat Zainab Sallallahu Alaihe Wasallam had not been there.
03:55That is, the great work that was done,
04:00the great sacrifice that was made,
04:02all of that would have remained there.
04:04If this woman had not been there,
04:07and the streets and cities that were taken as captives,
04:12and had not given that message to the world.
04:17That is why it was asked.
04:19When Imam Hussain had left Madinah,
04:21he was asked,
04:23that you are going,
04:25why are you taking these women and children?
04:29The Imam knew,
04:31that I am not the only target of God.
04:36He also has to take them with him.
04:38So here is the first concept.
04:41That I cannot reach God alone.
04:45The Imam is certainly the Imam.
04:47I am talking about myself,
04:48the teachings that we take.
04:49If I have to move forward,
04:51then I will have to take my whole family with me.
04:55Islam talks about home.
04:57Islam talks about relationships.
04:59Islam explains the rights of everyone.
05:02I am not alone.
05:03I am not sitting in the mosque and offering prayers.
05:05I am doing all this.
05:06There are bad things in society.
05:07There are bad things in my society.
05:08There are bad things in my home.
05:09No.
05:10So Imam Hussain took everything with him.
05:15So that tomorrow we do not have this excuse,
05:19that for example, I am a woman,
05:22I cannot do anything.
05:23I am old, I cannot do anything.
05:25I am a patient, I can't do anything. Is he a child? No.
05:28All the characters are present in Karbala.
05:30Everyone has to give their duty. Everyone has their own responsibility.
05:34Zainab peace be upon her, by sacrificing everything,
05:38and it is the role of women. You know that everyone has been martyred.
05:42Imam Zainul Abideen, the son of the Imam, is sick.
05:47It is a very big message for the women of the world to lead from that reference.
05:57And to keep your Islamic limits and hijab intact.
06:03And then to worship in the presence of God, whose whole house is looted.
06:08We have no competition.
06:14But it is normal that if something happens to us, we forget the obligatory prayer.
06:18Everything is scattered there.
06:21Everything is gone.
06:22And where the dead bodies are scattered, the tents are burnt.
06:29And there they are offering Tahajjud prayer.
06:32And they are worshipping in the presence of God.
06:36How can you leave the body if you are the owner of the Day of Judgment?
06:40All praise is due to Allah, who is the Lord of the worlds.
06:45This is after this sister has seen her brother very closely.
06:55And that place is still safe.
06:57This is Til-e-Zainabiyah and that is Makkah.
07:00She was standing at a height from here and she saw him.
07:03After that, it is Shukr-e-Khuda, not patience.
07:06Shukr-e-Khuda and then they are worshipping at night.
07:10What does this mean?
07:13Here it says that there is only La ilaha illa Allah.
07:18There is nothing else.
07:20If we want to see the direction of our life,
07:23Is there La ilaha illa Allah or not?
07:26If there is La ilaha illa Allah, then it is right.
07:29Actually, there is no La ilaha illa Allah in our life.
07:32If there is our prostration, then there is the world in it.
07:36If we want to see a person,
07:38Is the person old, big or small?
07:42What is his desire?
07:44If a person is in his worship,
07:48If he is in his prayer, then his desire is stuck in the world.
07:51How can I do this?
07:52He is such a small person.
07:54And everything is given there.
07:57And after that there is prostration and it is said that
08:01This and then going to every street and city and doing everything.
08:06No historian has ever said that
08:11Bibi Zainab has complained somewhere.
08:15That what has happened to us?
08:21Although this stage is not easy from every point of view.
08:25In fact, it may be more difficult than some points.
08:28Sometimes in the market, sometimes in the court.
08:31It is not easy.
08:32And people are addressing people in it.
08:34Like you said that when every person has an incident
08:38And an incident of a big family
08:40And that is the household of the family of the Prophet.
08:44If there is an incident with them, a tragedy,
08:47How big will be the tragedy?
08:49But despite that, they said that God is for you.
08:53He did not say anywhere that what happened to us?
08:56He did not say.
08:57And this is the reason that so far this Zikr
09:00The world has tried so much to stop this Zikr.
09:03But who can erase the one whom God has kept alive?
09:07Why? Because Imam Hussain did everything for God.
09:10So here the role of women in every aspect of life.
09:13That is, how a woman in ordinary life plays her role.
09:19And it happens that we have to go out and do work.
09:23But the limits of God that God has set,
09:25On those limits, on Islam, on Hijab,
09:28So every work, such a big movement
09:30Hazrat Zainab has taken with her.
09:32What a big movement it is.
09:34There are only two roles of being alive.
09:37Either become Hussaini and be martyred in the way of Allah.
09:40Or make a character of Zainab and preach Islam.
09:43That's it. These are the two roles.
09:45And towards the end, another character of the incident of Karbala
09:49Imam Zain-ul-Abideen, who saw the whole scene.
09:53And after that, the whole stage was of the markets,
09:59of the courts, with the wives.
10:02I heard from the scholars that when asked
10:05Why are you so sad?
10:07While martyrdom is a legacy.
10:09Martyrdom is a matter of great pride.
10:12So in a very sad way, he said,
10:14Yes, martyrdom is a legacy.
10:16With wives and daughters, after the courts,
10:19This is not a legacy.
10:20Actually, see, Sayyid-ul-Sajideen or Zain-ul-Abideen,
10:23These are their titles.
10:25So that personality who saw everything,
10:28His title is Sayyid-ul-Sajideen, the adornment of those who prostrate.
10:31Zain-ul-Abideen, the adornment of those who worship.
10:33So the head of those who prostrate, the adornment of those who worship.
10:36So even after all that,
10:38He is so much ahead in prostration and worship.
10:41Complaints are far away.
10:43For example, the day of Ashura has passed.
10:47And it is the evening of the poor.
10:49And all this has happened.
10:51That night,
10:53Imam Zain-ul-Abideen said,
10:57His name is Ali Ibn-ul-Hussain.
10:59The prostration he did in the presence of God,
11:03Just imagine that.
11:05Subhan-ar-Rabbi-Al-A'la-Wa-Bi-Hamdi
11:09This is a praise.
11:11That God.
11:13What a prostration.
11:15That all the brothers, uncles,
11:196 months old.
11:21Nephews, father,
11:23Baba's family,
11:25They were all shattered.
11:27Their tents were burnt.
11:29Subhan-ar-Rabbi-Al-A'la-Wa-Bi-Hamdi
11:31God.
11:33Actually,
11:35Imagination is also difficult for us.
11:39From here it is known,
11:41What is the real religion?
11:45For which God has worked so hard.
11:49For the survival of humanity,
11:51He has sent 124,000 prophets.
11:53And there,
11:55The Prophet of Allah said,
11:57This hadith is very famous.
11:59Indeed, Hussain is the light of guidance.
12:05It is the ship of salvation.
12:07And for everyone.
12:09Even today,
12:11The lesson of humanity,
12:13The lesson of survival,
12:15Oppression,
12:17All this is from Imam Hussain.
12:19Imam Hussain is such a light,
12:21Where there is light,
12:23This is the Zikr, this is the gathering,
12:25What is all this?
12:27If I could not say anything right in it,
12:29Actually, this is the lesson of unity.
12:31This is such a place,
12:33Where the door is open,
12:35Hussain's tent was also open.
12:37Come,
12:39For the sake of Allah.
12:41You have come from Allah,
12:43You have to go back to Allah.
12:45Actually, that was the wonder.
12:47Imam Hussain,
12:49Even today,
12:51He is taking humanity towards God.
12:53Whoever will come, will sit on the lesson,
12:55Towards God.
12:57What are you and I doing today?
12:59Is it my wonder or yours?
13:01No, we have no wonder.
13:03This is the wonder of Imam Hussain.
13:05Even today, in this modern era,
13:07The era of artificial intelligence,
13:09Where the world has gone towards robots,
13:11Even there,
13:13The world is reaching God
13:15Through the Zikr of Imam Hussain.
13:17I have no wonder.
13:19Towards the end,
13:21The last sentence,
13:23One aspect of Waqe-e-Karbala,
13:25Where you told from the first session,
13:27How Waqe-e-Karbala,
13:29And the personality of Imam Hussain,
13:31Should be the reason to get closer to God.
13:33There too,
13:35This is a message of unity of the Ummah,
13:37In the sense,
13:39You said that it is not a matter of religion,
13:41There is no doubt about this incident,
13:43It is possible that
13:45The way to express your grief,
13:47Your sorrow,
13:49Is someone else's.
13:51But this is the family of Rasool Allah,
13:53There is a tragedy with this family,
13:55And everyone is sad about this tragedy,
13:57There is no doubt about this,
13:59Does this incident bring a message of unity,
14:01In the whole Ummah?
14:03Look,
14:05If you look at the life of Rasool Allah,
14:07Then you,
14:09Rasool Allah,
14:11Like children,
14:13Madina's children became orphans,
14:15And these are the children of their own family,
14:17Who called themselves their own children,
14:19They called themselves,
14:21The children of paradise,
14:23And look at the history,
14:25There is Imam Hassan in one hand,
14:27And Imam Hussain in the other,
14:29And similarly,
14:31There are the grandchildren of Rasool Allah,
14:33Hussain,
14:35So,
14:37What could be better than this?
14:39Like you said,
14:41Everyone has their own way of expressing their grief,
14:43But the reality is,
14:45The reason of Imam Hussain,
14:47It is not that,
14:49I say that Imam Hussain is mine,
14:51And you say that,
14:53Imam Hussain is for Allah,
14:55Hussain belongs to everyone,
14:57Yes, Hussain belongs to everyone,
14:59If we want,
15:01Then we should come to this grief,
15:03We should come together,
15:05And we do,
15:07Everyone mentions Imam Hussain in their own way,
15:09No one should be happy about it,
15:11Definitely,
15:13And it is not that,
15:15It is a matter of me and Allah,
15:17It is a connection between me and Allah,
15:19The world,
15:21On which cliff,
15:23On that,
15:25Maybe,
15:27Words should not be tolerated,
15:29The way,
15:31The heart is attached to Hussain,
15:33The heart is attached to Hussain,
15:35You see,
15:37Last year,
15:39An Arabic novel,
15:41Which became very famous,
15:43There is nothing,
15:45There is nothing,
15:47This tells us that,
15:49Allah,
15:51In this name,
15:53Has given such a thing,
15:55Just mention it,
15:57And connect yourself,
15:59And this is the message,
16:01That we should spread the message of Karbala,
16:03To the world,
16:05So that,
16:07The story,
16:09Which is based on reality,
16:11No,
16:13No,
16:15In the face of oppression,
16:17There is a survival of the oppressed,
16:19And here,
16:21To be less,
16:23Or to be more,
16:25The number does not matter,
16:27The real quality,
16:29The real goal,
16:31If it is divine,
16:33Then it leads a person to success,
16:35May Allah make us,
16:37On this path of our life,
16:39May Allah keep us on this path of our life,
16:41And this is the path,
16:43Which is the path of survival.
16:45Thank you very much.
16:49In the Quran,
16:51In the Hadith, there is no mention of Yazid.
16:53There is no mention of Yazid's grave anywhere.
16:57There is Hussain's child in Hajab-e-Jadah.
17:01This is an incident that happened 1400 years ago.
17:03Ghibla had said in his initial session,
17:05That it is not like,
17:07On one side of the earth,
17:09In 61 Hijri,
17:11A story started,
17:13Which ended on the 10th of Muharram.
17:15If that was the case,
17:17Then this incident would not have been relevant.
17:19And at that time,
17:21The groups that were at the top,
17:23Who destroyed their opponents,
17:25Oppressed women,
17:27If this was the case,
17:29If there was an outward power,
17:31Then after 1400 years,
17:33There is no mention of Yazid's grave.
17:35There is no mention of Yazid's grave.
17:37There is no desire to be attributed from there.
17:39Yes, Hussain's child is in Hajab-e-Jadah.
17:41Everyone tries to connect themselves to the Imam of the highest station.
17:45When we heard the discussion of the scholars,
17:47The reason for this was that,
17:49They did not keep their own self anywhere.
17:51They kept the self of Allah.
17:53I am with this prayer,
17:55Because today is our concluding session.
17:57Thank you very much.
17:59Allah, I am saying this for myself.
18:01May Allah enable us to do dhikr-e-Hussain,
18:05And to act on fikr-e-Hussain.
18:07Ataafirullah.
18:09I will be back after the break.
