A Visit to Church On The Hill in Battlefield

We spoke to Vlad Catalin at Church On The Hill beside Queen's Park about what makes the local area so special.

00:00My name is Vlad and today you are at Church on the Hill in Battlefield, Glasgow.

00:05I've been living in this area for seven years now and I can say it's probably one of the best

00:10friendly and supposed to live in Glasgow. We are family friendly and we are dog friendly.

00:16We have probably 10 minimum of 10 dogs a day in here with customers. We are a sports bar

00:24and and it's run by the locals for the locals. We are also have like our food is gastropub food

00:33and it's with fresh products every day. So I think this is like one of the

00:39best things the customers are looking for for fresh products every day.

00:43We also have being a sports bar we have 14 screens where we can show like any big competitions like

00:50football, rugby especially and it's also home before Hampden for any Scotland games at Hampden.

00:59It's a major sport here for them. There's fans from all over Scotland coming here for a pint

01:06or a burger before the game. The atmosphere here and the vibe before the game is thrilling

01:13and then if there's a win as well they will come after the game and there'll be even a better vibe.
