00:00President Biden made an address in the Oval Office after a Saturday shooting, and he said this in part that, quote,

00:07the need for us to lower the temperature in our politics and to remember, while we may disagree, we are not enemies.

00:13We're neighbors, we're friends, co-workers, citizens, and most importantly, we are fellow Americans and we must stand together.

00:20What do you think of the president's response within the past 48 hours to the shooting?

00:25I think they're pretty shallow, if not hollow.

00:27The president stated that we need to put Donald Trump in our crosshairs.

00:31He said that he will destroy this country.

00:35He's a threat to democracy. He needs to be taken out.

00:38Along with the national media relentlessly comparing President Trump to Hitler, it creates a situation.

00:46You've got to realize that this kid that tried to shoot the president, he is an American citizen.

00:53He's not a radicalized Muslim.

00:56He's not a foreigner.

00:57He's not a foreign agent.

00:59He is an American citizen and he has been radicalized by this administration and the media.

01:08Right now, it's I mean, it's really no secret that temperatures are at an all time high.

01:13It's a deeply politicized time.

01:15What's your message to your constituents, as well as Americans as a whole, regardless of party?

01:21Well, I think God has his hand on America, but we just keep slapping it away.

01:26We have allowed so much degradation to democracy in the last few years that it's time for America to step up.

01:35We've got to have more than 15 percent of the population go to the polls and they need to vote all the way down the ticket.

01:42And I think they need to trust their heart more than they do the women on the view.

01:49And in all the pundits, I think you ought to delve into these issues and the candidates and develop a.

01:58A mindset that would put you in the right place to go make the proper decision on Election Day.
