00:00Scottie Scheffler, of course, has had the year of his life.
00:07He's already won six tournaments, he won a major at the Masters, he won the Players.
00:12He has racked in more money than you could possibly imagine this year.
00:17We have not seen him though in a while, he did not play at the Scottish Open last week.
00:21He's been getting a lot of rest, Scottie.
00:23Of course, he's a new dad, him and the wife having the baby a couple of months ago, and
00:27he needs to rest up, Scottie, because there's a lot more obligations when you become the
00:32number one player in the world.
00:34Here's Scheffler.
00:35When you come back out here on the road and come try and play and do things, I have the
00:38energy to compete, I have the energy to, really the social energy to come out and interact
00:43with the fans and do this kind of stuff, sit in the media center.
00:48Believe it or not, this isn't my favorite thing in the world to do, but it's part of
00:54the job and it's something that I enjoy doing, and I like being able to come in here and
00:58sit and talk to you guys and do all the stuff that comes with playing great golf.
01:03It's a pretty cool feeling to be able to make somebody's day just by signing an autograph
01:06or taking a picture.
01:07That's a pretty fun feeling, and I'm trying to embrace more that side of it than not being
01:12able to sign everybody's autograph, and then people are upset because you can't get to
01:15them throughout the day.
01:16That's not a fun feeling, so I'm trying to lean more into the feeling of making somebody's
01:21day just by simply signing something or taking a picture.
01:24Okay, that was really some of the most ridiculous stuff I've ever heard on this show.
01:30I care about this guy's autograph and picture-taking and having to do an interview and he's tired
01:37and all the rest.
01:38I thought he was going to come on there and start talking about, you know, ever since
01:40I had this damn baby, I can't sleep.
01:43All I do is stay up all night feeding this baby, taking turns with my wife.
01:48What a bad decision that was, having a baby.
01:51I go, listen, these babies and these kids, you know, we all have them.
01:56If you have them, if you don't, respectfully, I say this, they are a pain in the ass.
02:02It is no joke.
02:04It is toxic.
02:07I mean, it is 24-7 for, like, at least, I'd say, 13 years.
02:14I mean, when they're 14, 15, 16, 17, they're on their way, right?
02:20You know, when they're teenagers, they're done listening to you, they do whatever they
02:23want and they typically get away with it, but when they're little, when they're newborn
02:28until they're 13 years old, it's like, you might as well not even, your life's over.
02:34Your life's over.
02:35I don't know how you have, you know, who's the guy, Burns, his wife had twins like two
02:40weeks ago.
02:41He's pitching in the All-Star game.
02:43The guy, he needs a bottle of Johnny Black.
02:45I mean, he like flew home to twins.
02:48Can you imagine twins or triplets?
02:51Honestly, I'd be like, where's the fentanyl?
02:54I can't take it.
02:55I can barely take one.
02:56My son was colic.
02:58I wanted to jump.
02:59I mean, this kid screamed all day.
03:01I thought I was like, this is hell.
03:04Who signed up for this?
03:05I never wanted any to begin with.
03:07Started this chick, lured me with all of her babies and everything.
03:11She lured me into this, Carver High.
03:13I never signed up for any of this.
03:15I like going to the martini club and having a few drinks.
03:18I don't need babies.
03:20Don't need it.
03:21And I gotta, listen, I would say he's tired since he had the baby, but he's, he won like
03:26a bunch of, won the Memorial, the Traveler, he's won a bunch of tournaments.
03:30I don't want him to win ever.
03:32I don't want him.
03:33We don't want him in here.
03:34I don't like it.
03:35Like his baby or his family.
