Machang MP says not given chance to defend himself in Parliament

Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal says he was not given the chance to defend himself in the House, adding that the suspension will see him miss out on Budget 2025 debates when the Dewan Rakyat sits in October.

The Machang MP described his six-month suspension from Parliament as a "dark spot" in Malaysia’s parliamentary democracy.
