Taiwan Seeks More Foreign Workers To Replace Aging Workforce

Taiwan wants to boost its aging workforce with more than 100,000 foreign workers by 2028. To do that, it's seeking to ease residency requirements.

00:14out of their jobs by 2028, but it says that this will be challenging because of rising
00:19wages in Southeast Asia, which make Taiwan less attractive to workers from the region.
00:25The plan includes making it easier to gain residency, encouraging digital nomads to settle
00:30in Taiwan, and investing in the local workforce.
