00:00:00Thank you very much.
00:00:03Thank you very, very much.
00:00:05Wow.
00:00:05And thank you, Dana.
00:00:09Thank you, Kid Rock, sometimes referred to as
00:00:14Bob.
00:00:15And thank you, Lee, right from the beginning.
00:00:20Thank you very much.
00:00:21What a talent.
00:00:22What a beautiful, beautiful song.
00:00:23Thank you.
00:00:26Friends, delegates, and fellow citizens, I stand
00:00:33before you this evening with a message of
00:00:35confidence, strength, and hope.
00:00:39Four months from now, we will have an incredible
00:00:42victory, and we will begin the four greatest years in
00:00:48the history of our country.
00:00:50Together, we will launch a new era of safety,
00:00:57prosperity, and freedom for citizens of every
00:01:00race, religion, color, and creed.
00:01:03The discord and division in our society must be
00:01:07healed.
00:01:08We must heal it quickly.
00:01:10As Americans, we are bound together by a single
00:01:13fate and a shared destiny.
00:01:16We rise together or we fall apart.
00:01:21I am running to be President for all of
00:01:25America, not half of America, because there is
00:01:28no victory in winning for half of America.
00:01:32So, tonight, with faith and devotion, I proudly
00:01:39accept your nomination for President of the United
00:01:44States.
00:01:45Thank you.
00:01:45Thank you.
00:02:07Thank you very much.
00:02:08Thank you very much.
00:02:26And we will do it right.
00:02:28We're going to do it right.
00:02:31Let me begin this evening by expressing my
00:02:34gratitude to the American people for your outpouring
00:02:38of love and support following the
00:02:40assassination attempt at my rally on Saturday.
00:02:45As you already know, the assassin's bullet came
00:02:55within a quarter of an inch of taking my life.
00:02:59So many people have asked me, what happened?
00:03:02Tell us what happened, please.
00:03:05And therefore, I will tell you exactly what
00:03:07happened, and you'll never hear it from me a second
00:03:11time because it's actually too painful to tell.
00:03:17It was a warm, beautiful day in the early evening
00:03:22in Butler Township in the great commonwealth of
00:03:26Pennsylvania.
00:03:27Music was loudly playing, and the campaign was
00:03:35doing really well.
00:03:37I went to the stage, and the crowd was cheering
00:03:41wildly.
00:03:41Everybody was happy.
00:03:43I began speaking very strongly, powerfully, and
00:03:48happily because I was discussing the great job
00:03:54my administration did on immigration at the
00:03:57southern border.
00:03:59We were very proud of it.
00:04:00We were very proud of it.
00:04:06Behind me, and to the right, was a large screen
00:04:11that was displaying a chart of border crossings
00:04:16under my leadership.
00:04:18The numbers were absolutely amazing.
00:04:22In order to see the chart, I started to, like this,
00:04:28turn to my right and was ready to begin a little
00:04:36bit further turn, which I'm very lucky I didn't do,
00:04:41when I heard a loud whizzing sound and felt
00:04:45something hit me really, really hard on my right
00:04:51ear.
00:04:53I said to myself, wow, what was that?
00:04:56It can only be a bullet.
00:05:01And moved my right hand to my ear, brought it down.
00:05:05My hand was covered with blood, just absolutely
00:05:09blood all over the place.
00:05:12I immediately knew it was very serious that we were
00:05:15under attack.
00:05:17And in one movement, proceeded to drop to the
00:05:21ground.
00:05:23Bullets were continuing to fly as very brave Secret
00:05:29Service agents rushed to the stage.
00:05:31And they really did.
00:05:32They rushed to the stage.
00:05:34These are great people at great risk, I will tell
00:05:47you, and pounced on top of me so that I would be
00:05:52protected.
00:05:54There was blood pouring everywhere, and yet, in a
00:05:57certain way, I felt very safe because I had God on
00:06:02my side.
00:06:03I felt that.
00:06:04Thank you.
00:06:10The amazing thing is that prior to the shot, if I
00:06:23had not moved my head at that very last instant,
00:06:27the assassin's bullet would have perfectly hit
00:06:31its mark.
00:06:32And I would not be here tonight.
00:06:35We would not be together.
00:06:38The most incredible aspect of what took place
00:06:41on that terrible evening in the fading sun was
00:06:45actually seen later.
00:06:48In almost all cases, as you probably know, and
00:06:52when even a single bullet is fired, just a single
00:06:56bullet, and we had many bullets that were being
00:06:59fired, crowds run for the exits or stampede.
00:07:04But not in this case.
00:07:05It was very unusual.
00:07:06This massive crowd of tens of thousands of people
00:07:17stood by and didn't move an inch.
00:07:20In fact, many of them bravely but automatically
00:07:23stood up, looking for where the sniper would be.
00:07:26They knew immediately it was a sniper, and then
00:07:29began pointing at him.
00:07:31You can see that if you look at the group behind
00:07:33me, that was just a small group compared to what was
00:07:37in front.
00:07:39Nobody ran, and by not stampeding, many lives
00:07:42were saved.
00:07:44But that isn't the reason that they didn't move.
00:07:51The reason is that they knew I was in very serious
00:07:54trouble.
00:07:55They saw it.
00:07:56They saw me go down.
00:07:57They saw the blood and thought, actually, most
00:08:03did, that I was dead.
00:08:05They knew it was a shot to the head.
00:08:07They saw the blood.
00:08:09And there's an interesting statistic.
00:08:11The ears are the bloodiest part.
00:08:14If something happens with the ears, they bleed more
00:08:17than any other part of the body.
00:08:19For whatever reason, the doctors told me that.
00:08:21And I said, Why is there so much blood?
00:08:23He said, It's the ears.
00:08:24They bleed more.
00:08:26So we learned something.
00:08:27But they just — they just — this beautiful
00:08:34crowd, they didn't want to leave me.
00:08:35They knew I was in trouble.
00:08:36They didn't want to leave me.
00:08:37And you can see that love written all over their
00:08:41faces.
00:08:41Incredible people.
00:08:46They're incredible people.
00:08:49Bullets were flying over us, yet I felt serene.
00:08:54But now the Secret Service agents were putting
00:08:56themselves in peril.
00:08:58They were in very dangerous territory.
00:09:01Bullets were flying right over them, missing them
00:09:03by a very small amount of inches.
00:09:07And then it all stopped.
00:09:10Our Secret Service sniper, from a much greater
00:09:15distance and with only one bullet used, took the
00:09:21assassin's life, took him out.
00:09:23I'm not supposed to be here tonight.
00:09:33Not supposed to be here.
00:09:38Audience Members, Yes, you are!
00:09:43Yes, you are!
00:09:46Yes, you are!
00:09:49Yes, you are!
00:09:52Thank you.
00:09:57But I'm not.
00:09:59And I'll tell you, I stand before you in this arena
00:10:04only by the grace of Almighty God.
00:10:18In watching the reports over the last few days,
00:10:21many people say it was a providential moment.
00:10:26Probably was.
00:10:27When I rose, surrounded by Secret Service, the crowd
00:10:32was confused because they thought I was dead.
00:10:35And there was great, great sorrow.
00:10:36I could see that on their faces as I looked out.
00:10:40They didn't know I was looking out.
00:10:41They thought it was over.
00:10:44But I could see it.
00:10:45I wanted to do something to let them know I was okay.
00:10:49I raised my right arm, looked at the thousands
00:10:52and thousands of people that were breathlessly
00:10:56waiting, and started shouting,
00:10:59Fight, fight, fight!
00:11:01Audience Members, Fight, fight, fight!
00:11:06Fight, fight, fight!
00:11:08Fight, fight, fight!
00:11:10Thank you.
00:11:13Once my clenched fist went up, and it was high
00:11:19into the air — you've all seen that — the crowd
00:11:22realized I was okay, and roared with pride for our
00:11:28country like no crowd I have ever heard before.
00:11:31Never heard anything like it.
00:11:40For the rest of my life, I will be grateful for the
00:11:43love shown by that giant audience of patriots that
00:11:48stood bravely on that fateful evening in
00:11:51Pennsylvania.
00:11:53Tragically, the shooter claimed the life of one of
00:11:57our fellow Americans.
00:11:59Cory, compare it to our unbelievable person,
00:12:03everybody tells me.
00:12:04Unbelievable.
00:12:05And seriously wounded, two other great warriors spoke
00:12:11to them today, David Dutch and James Copenhaver.
00:12:22Two great people.
00:12:24I also spoke to all three families of these
00:12:29tremendous people.
00:12:31Our love and prayers are with them, and always will
00:12:35be.
00:12:36We're never going to forget them.
00:12:36They came for a great rally.
00:12:39They were serious Trumpsters, I want to
00:12:41tell you.
00:12:42They were serious Trumpsters, and still
00:12:43are.
00:12:44But Cory, unfortunately, we have to use the past
00:12:47tense.
00:12:48He was incredible.
00:12:48Yeah.
00:12:49He was a highly respected former fire chief,
00:12:51respected by everybody.
00:12:53Was accompanied by his wife, Helen — incredible
00:12:58woman, I spoke to her today, devastated — and
00:13:01two precious daughters.
00:13:03He lost his life selflessly, acting as a
00:13:06human shield to protect them from flying bullets.
00:13:09He went right over the top of them and was hit.
00:13:12What a fine man he was.
00:13:44I want to thank the Fire Department and the family
00:14:04for sending his helmet, his outfit.
00:14:10And it was just something — they're going to do
00:14:13something very special when they get it, but we
00:14:16did something which cannot match what happened.
00:14:19Not even close.
00:14:20But I am very proud to say that, over the past few
00:14:22days, we've raised $6.3 million for the families
00:14:34of David, James, and Cory, including from a friend
00:14:40of mine — just called up, he sent me a check right
00:14:42here.
00:14:43I got it.
00:14:44One million dollars.
00:14:45From Dan Newland.
00:14:50Thank you, Dan.
00:14:50And again, when speaking to the family, I told them,
00:14:57I said, well, I'm going to be sending you a lot of
00:15:00money, but it can't compensate.
00:15:02They all said the same thing.
00:15:03You're right, sir.
00:15:04We appreciate so much what you're doing, but
00:15:07nothing can take the place, in the case of Cory.
00:15:10And the other two — by the way, they were very,
00:15:12very seriously injured, but now they're doing very
00:15:15well.
00:15:15They're going to be okay.
00:15:16They're going to be doing very well.
00:15:21They're warriors.
00:15:26So now, I ask that we observe a moment of
00:15:30silence in honor of our friend, Cory.
00:15:42Thank you.
00:15:52There is no greater love than to lay down one's
00:15:54life for others.
00:15:57This is the spirit that forged America in her
00:16:00darkest hours, and this is the love that will lead
00:16:04America back to the summit of human achievement and
00:16:07greatness.
00:16:08This is what we need.
00:16:10Despite such a heinous attack, we unite this
00:16:14evening more determined than ever.
00:16:17I am more determined than ever, and so are you.
00:16:19So is everybody on this side.
00:16:31Thank you.
00:16:34Thank you very much.
00:16:41Thank you very much.
00:16:48Our resolve is unbroken, and our purpose is
00:16:51unchanged — to deliver a government that serves the
00:16:54American people better than ever before.
00:16:58Nothing will stop me in this mission because our
00:17:01vision is righteous and our cause is pure.
00:17:05No matter what obstacle comes our way, we will
00:17:08not break, we will not bend, we will not back
00:17:11down, and I will never stop fighting for you,
00:17:14your family, and our magnificent country.
00:17:17Never.
00:17:20And everything I have to give with all of the
00:17:30energy and fight in my heart and soul, I pledge
00:17:33to our nation tonight.
00:17:35Thank you very much.
00:17:36I pledge that to our nation.
00:17:38I'm going to turn our nation around, and we're
00:17:41going to do it very quickly.
00:17:42Thank you.
00:17:43This election should be about the issues facing
00:17:53our country and how to make America successful,
00:17:56safe, free, and great again.
00:18:01In an age when our politics too often divide
00:18:08us, now is the time to remember that we are all
00:18:11fellow citizens.
00:18:13We are one nation under God, indivisible, with
00:18:17liberty and justice for all.
00:18:22And we must not criminalize dissent or
00:18:32demonize political disagreement, which is
00:18:35what's been happening in our country lately at a
00:18:37level that nobody has ever seen before.
00:18:41In that spirit, the Democrat Party should
00:18:43immediately stop weaponizing the justice
00:18:46system and labeling their political opponent as an
00:18:49enemy of democracy.
00:18:51Especially since that is not true.
00:18:58In fact, I am the one saving democracy for the
00:19:02people of our country.
00:19:03And very big news, as you probably just read.
00:19:16On Monday, a major ruling was handed down from a
00:19:20highly respected federal judge in Florida, Eileen
00:19:24Cannon, finding that the prosecutor and the fake
00:19:28documents case against me were totally
00:19:32unconstitutional.
00:19:33And the entire case was thrown out of court.
00:19:37With all of that publicity thrown out of court.
00:19:42If Democrats want to unify our country, they should
00:19:50drop these partisan witch hunts, which I have been
00:19:53going through for approximately eight years.
00:19:57And they should do that without delay and allow an
00:19:59election to proceed that is worthy of our people.
00:20:02We're going to win it anyway.
00:20:03But worthy of our people.
00:20:09On this journey, I am deeply honored to be
00:20:11joined by my amazing wife, Melania.
00:20:16And Melania, thank you very much.
00:20:40You also did something really beautiful, a letter
00:20:44to America calling for national unity.
00:20:47And it really took the Republican Party by
00:20:50surprise.
00:20:50I will tell you, it was beautiful.
00:20:52In fact, some very serious people said that we should
00:21:04take that letter and put it as part of the
00:21:08Republican platform.
00:21:09That would be an honor, wouldn't it?
00:21:11Right?
00:21:12Mr. Congressman.
00:21:13But it captivated so many.
00:21:17So, I also want to thank my entire family for being
00:21:22here.
00:21:22Don, Kimberly, Ivanka, and Jared, Eric, and Lara,
00:21:27Tiffany, and Michael.
00:21:29Barron.
00:21:30We love our Barron.
00:21:31And, of course, my 10 wonderful grandchildren,
00:21:42you saw a few of them up there on my lap before.
00:21:45And how good was Dana?
00:21:55Was Dana good?
00:21:56I mean, was he good?
00:22:00You know, he was on probably the only vacation
00:22:03he's had in about, maybe ever, because he works.
00:22:07But about 10 years with his wife.
00:22:10Very far away.
00:22:11I won't tell you where, but very, very far away.
00:22:13Beautiful place.
00:22:14And my people called, and he said, yeah, I won't be
00:22:17able to do it.
00:22:18This is many, many years.
00:22:19I promised my wife I can't do it.
00:22:21And they came in, they said, Dana won't be able
00:22:23to do it because he was my first, second, and third
00:22:26choice.
00:22:27I said, well, you know, that's too bad.
00:22:31But I understand.
00:22:32He's away, and that's good.
00:22:33It's good for him.
00:22:35And that was it.
00:22:36About 30 minutes later, she came back in.
00:22:39I said, sir, Dana just called.
00:22:40He's going to do it.
00:22:42And his wife, she said, you can't turn him down.
00:22:45You just can't do it.
00:22:46You have to go.
00:22:47That's a good wife.
00:22:48So he got on a plane.
00:22:59He got here a little while ago.
00:23:01Now he's going to get on the plane in a little
00:23:03while, and he's going to go back home to his wife.
00:23:06But they're great.
00:23:06And I just want to thank her and him and their
00:23:09whole family, because that's not easy.
00:23:11And Kid Rock, same thing.
00:23:13Called, he said.
00:23:14He said, I want to be a part of it.
00:23:19I want to be a part.
00:23:20Because, you know, Kid does his great song, big,
00:23:23big monster song.
00:23:24I had no idea.
00:23:25You know, he became a friend of mine over the
00:23:26last 10 years.
00:23:28And he's amazing.
00:23:30Everyone loves him.
00:23:31I didn't even know how big he was.
00:23:32You know, he has rallies.
00:23:34Thirty-five, forty thousand people he gets
00:23:36every time he goes out.
00:23:38I think he's making so much money, he doesn't
00:23:40know what the hell to do with it.
00:23:41You want to know?
00:23:42And then we have my other friend, and I've known him
00:23:48so long.
00:23:49And we took that song, and it was a big success.
00:23:51But we made that.
00:23:53I saw a chart of great songs to America.
00:23:56That was number one on the chart recently.
00:23:58Number one.
00:23:59So, that's Lee Greenwood, a very special, beautiful
00:24:04person.
00:24:05Beautiful man.
00:24:05But they all wanted to be here.
00:24:11They called him.
00:24:12And how about the Hulkster?
00:24:13How good was he?
00:24:14You see it?
00:24:15Where is he?
00:24:17Boy, oh, boy.
00:24:30You know, they may call it — they may call that
00:24:32entertainment.
00:24:33I know about entertainment.
00:24:35But when he used to lift a 350-pound man over his
00:24:39shoulders and then bench-press him two rows
00:24:42into the audience, I say, maybe entertainment, but
00:24:46he is one strong son of a gun.
00:24:47I will tell you.
00:24:48I watched it many times.
00:24:50There aren't a lot of entertainers that can do
00:24:52that, right?
00:24:54You were fantastic.
00:24:55Thank you very much.
00:24:58Followed by Eric.
00:25:01What was that all about?
00:25:02Boy, that was good.
00:25:03I didn't want to really come up here.
00:25:05But he was so great.
00:25:08And he's such a good young man.
00:25:10He went through a lot of trouble.
00:25:12And Don, last night, was incredible.
00:25:14They went through so much trouble.
00:25:15They got subpoenaed more than any people, probably,
00:25:18in the history of the United States.
00:25:19Every week, they get another subpoena from the
00:25:23Democrats.
00:25:24Crazy Nancy Pelosi.
00:25:25The whole thing, just boom, boom, boom.
00:25:28They've got to stop that because they're destroying
00:25:35our country.
00:25:36We have to work on making America great again, not
00:25:39on beating people.
00:25:41And we won.
00:25:42We beat them in all.
00:25:43We beat them on the impeachments.
00:25:45We beat them on indictments.
00:25:46We beat them.
00:25:47But the time that you have to spend, the time that
00:25:51you have to spend, if they would devote that genius
00:25:54to helping our country, we'd have a much stronger
00:25:58and better country.
00:25:59And Jason, the biggest star in country music.
00:26:13Jason, thank you for being here.
00:26:17Jason, thank you very much.
00:26:21Jason Aldean.
00:26:21He's good.
00:26:24I like his wife even better, by the way.
00:26:25She's here.
00:26:26Thank you, Jason.
00:26:29But I'm thrilled to have a new friend and partner
00:26:33fighting by my side, the next Vice President of the
00:26:37United States, the current senator from Ohio, J.D.
00:26:40Vance, and his incredible wife, Usha.
00:26:54He's going to be a great Vice President.
00:27:03He's going to be great.
00:27:04He'll be with this country and with his movement.
00:27:07Greatest movement in the history of our country.
00:27:09Make America great again.
00:27:11When they criticized it, they said, we're going to
00:27:13try and stop MAGA.
00:27:14I said, MAGA is making America great again.
00:27:16What are you going to stop?
00:27:17There's nothing to stop.
00:27:20Then they say, oh, that's right.
00:27:21It's very tough to fight it.
00:27:24And all of the people that did try and fight it have
00:27:27failed, but he's going to be with us for a long time.
00:27:30And it was an honor to select him.
00:27:32Great, great student at Yale.
00:27:34His wife was a great student at Yale.
00:27:36They met at Yale.
00:27:36These are two smart people.
00:27:38So, J.D., you're going to be doing this for a long
00:27:44time.
00:27:44Enjoy the ride.
00:27:46And a very special thank you to the extraordinary
00:27:56people of Milwaukee and the great state of — oh,
00:28:03there they are.
00:28:04There they are.
00:28:05That's — you are so easy to spot.
00:28:08And Green Bay is going to have a good team this
00:28:13year, right?
00:28:14They're going to have a good team.
00:28:17They're going to have a good team.
00:28:19Most of the audience doesn't like it, but it's
00:28:21true.
00:28:22You're going to have a very good team this year.
00:28:25And, by the way, Wisconsin, we are spending
00:28:29over $250 million here creating jobs and other
00:28:34economic development all over the place.
00:28:37So, I hope you will remember this in November
00:28:40and give us your vote.
00:28:42I am trying to buy your vote.
00:28:45I'll be honest about that.
00:28:46And I promise we will make Wisconsin great again.
00:28:57We're going to make it.
00:28:58Thank you, Mr. Governor.
00:29:03Thank you very much.
00:29:04Thank you.
00:29:06I'm here tonight to lay out a vision for the whole
00:29:09nation, to every citizen, whether you're a young or
00:29:13old man or woman, Democrat, Republican, or
00:29:16independent, black or white, Asian or Hispanic.
00:29:20I extend to you a hand of loyalty and of friendship.
00:29:25Together, we will lead America to new heights of
00:29:28greatness like the world has never seen before.
00:29:31We were right there in the first term.
00:29:34We got hit with COVID.
00:29:35We did a great job.
00:29:36Nobody knew what it was, but nobody has ever seen
00:29:38an economy pre-COVID.
00:29:40And then we handed over a stock market that was
00:29:43substantially higher than just prior to COVID coming
00:29:47in, did a great job.
00:29:48Never got credit for that.
00:29:49We got credit for the war and defeating ISIS and so
00:29:54many things.
00:29:54A great economy.
00:29:55The biggest tax cuts ever.
00:29:57The biggest regulation cuts ever.
00:29:59The creation of Space Force.
00:30:01The rebuilding of our military.
00:30:02We did so much.
00:30:05We did so much.
00:30:06Right to try.
00:30:07Right to try is a big deal.
00:30:10We got right to try.
00:30:11They were trying to get that for 52 years.
00:30:15Somebody is terminally ill, and hopefully there's
00:30:18nobody in this audience, but it does happen a lot.
00:30:21They're terminally ill and they can't use our new
00:30:24space age drugs and other things that we are way
00:30:27ahead.
00:30:28We have the greatest doctors in the world, the
00:30:29greatest laboratories in the world, and you can't
00:30:32do it.
00:30:33They've been trying to get that approved for 52
00:30:34years.
00:30:35It wasn't that easy.
00:30:36The insurance companies didn't want to do it.
00:30:38They didn't want the risk.
00:30:39The labs didn't want to do it because if it didn't
00:30:40work, people are pretty far down the line toward
00:30:43death.
00:30:44They didn't want to do it.
00:30:45The doctors didn't want to have it on their record.
00:30:47So I got everybody into an office.
00:30:49Fifty-two years they tried.
00:30:50Sounds simple, but it's not.
00:30:52And I got them to agree that somebody that needs
00:30:55it will, instead of going to Asia or Europe or
00:30:58someplace, or if you have no money going home and
00:31:01dying, just die.
00:31:03We got them to sign an agreement, agree to it,
00:31:06where they're not going to sue anybody.
00:31:07They're going to get all of this stuff.
00:31:09They're going to get it really fast.
00:31:10And what's happened is we're saving thousands and
00:31:13thousands of lives.
00:31:15It's incredible.
00:31:16Right to try.
00:31:17It's a great feeling.
00:31:22Under our leadership, the United States will be
00:31:25respected again.
00:31:27No nation will question our power.
00:31:29No enemy will doubt our might.
00:31:31Our borders will be totally secure.
00:31:33Our economy will soar.
00:31:36We will return law and order to our streets,
00:31:39patriotism to our schools.
00:31:41And importantly, we will restore peace, stability,
00:31:44and harmony all throughout the world.
00:31:48But to achieve this future, we must first rescue our
00:31:53nation from failed and even incompetent leadership.
00:31:57We have totally incompetent leadership.
00:32:01This will be the most important election in the
00:32:03history of our country.
00:32:05Under the current administration, we are
00:32:08indeed a nation in decline.
00:32:11We have an inflation crisis that is making life
00:32:14unaffordable, ravaging the incomes of working and
00:32:17low-income families, and crushing, just simply
00:32:21crushing our people like never before.
00:32:23They've never seen anything like it.
00:32:26We also have an illegal immigration crisis, and
00:32:30it's taking place right now as we sit here in this
00:32:34beautiful arena.
00:32:36It's a massive invasion at our southern border that
00:32:39has spread misery, crime, poverty, disease, and
00:32:42destruction to communities all across our land.
00:32:46Nobody has ever seen anything like it.
00:32:48Then there is an international crisis, the
00:32:51likes of which the world has seldom been part of.
00:32:56Nobody can believe what's happening.
00:32:58The war is now raging in Europe and the Middle East.
00:33:01A growing specter of conflict hangs over
00:33:04Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, and all of
00:33:07Asia, and our planet is teetering on the edge of
00:33:10World War III.
00:33:12And this will be a war like no other war because
00:33:14of weaponry.
00:33:15The weapons are no longer army tanks going back and
00:33:19forth, shooting at each other.
00:33:21These weapons are obliteration.
00:33:25It's time for a change.
00:33:27This administration can't come close to solving the
00:33:31problems.
00:33:31We're dealing with very tough, very fierce people.
00:33:36They're fierce people.
00:33:38And we don't have fierce people.
00:33:40We have people that are a lot less than fierce,
00:33:43except when it comes to cheating on elections and
00:33:46a couple of other things.
00:33:47Then they're fierce.
00:33:49Then they're fierce.
00:33:51So, tonight, I make this pledge to the great people
00:33:58of America.
00:34:00I will end the devastating inflation crisis
00:34:02immediately, bring down interest rates, and lower
00:34:05the cost of energy.
00:34:07We will drill, baby, drill.
00:34:10We will drill, baby, drill.
00:34:34Can you believe what they're doing?
00:34:37But by doing that, we will lead a large-scale
00:34:41decline in prices.
00:34:42Prices will start to come down.
00:34:44Energy raised it.
00:34:45They took our energy policies and destroyed
00:34:48them.
00:34:48Then they immediately went back to them.
00:34:49But by that time, so much was lost.
00:34:53But we will do it at levels that nobody has
00:34:55ever seen before.
00:34:56And we'll end lots of different things.
00:34:59We'll start paying off debt and start lowering
00:35:01taxes even further.
00:35:02We gave you the largest tax cut.
00:35:05We'll do it more.
00:35:06You know, people don't realize I brought taxes
00:35:09way down, way, way down.
00:35:11And yet, we took in more revenues the following
00:35:14year than we did when the tax rate was much higher.
00:35:17Most people said, how did you do that?
00:35:18Because it was incentive.
00:35:21Everybody was coming to the country.
00:35:23They were bringing back billions and billions of
00:35:26dollars into our country.
00:35:27The companies made it impossible to bring it
00:35:30back.
00:35:30The tax rate was too high.
00:35:32And the legal complications were far
00:35:34too great.
00:35:35I changed both of them.
00:35:38And hundreds of billions of dollars by Apple and so
00:35:41many other companies were brought back into our
00:35:44nation.
00:35:44And we had an economy the likes of which nobody, no
00:35:48nation had ever seen.
00:35:49China, we were beating them at levels that were
00:35:53incredible.
00:35:54And they know it.
00:35:57They know it.
00:35:58We'll do it again, but we'll do it even better.
00:36:01I will end the illegal immigration crisis by
00:36:04closing our border and finishing the wall, most of
00:36:08which I've already built.
00:36:09On the wall, we were dealing with a very
00:36:19difficult Congress.
00:36:21And I said, oh, that's okay.
00:36:23We won't go to Congress.
00:36:24I call it an invasion.
00:36:26We gave our military almost $800 billion.
00:36:29I said, I'm going to take a little of that money
00:36:32because this is an invasion.
00:36:34And we built most of the wall is already built.
00:36:36And we built it through using the funds because
00:36:39what's more, what's better than that?
00:36:41We have to stop the invasion into our country
00:36:46that's killing hundreds of thousands of people a
00:36:49year.
00:36:51We're not going to let that happen.
00:36:55I will end every single international crisis that
00:36:59the current administration has created, including
00:37:03the horrible war with Russia and Ukraine, which
00:37:06would have never happened if I was president.
00:37:09And the war caused by the attack on Israel, which
00:37:14would have never happened if I was president.
00:37:16Iran was broke.
00:37:18Iran had no money.
00:37:19Now Iran has $250 billion.
00:37:21They made it all over the last two and a half years.
00:37:25They were broke.
00:37:26I watched the other day on a show called Deface the
00:37:29Nation.
00:37:30Has anyone seen it?
00:37:32And they had a congressman who was a
00:37:34Democrat say, well, whether you like him or
00:37:36not, Iran was broke dealing with Trump.
00:37:38I told China and other countries, if you buy from
00:37:40Iran, we will not let you do any business in this
00:37:44country.
00:37:45And we will put tariffs on every product you do send
00:37:48in of 100 percent or more.
00:37:50And they said to me, well, I think that's about it.
00:37:55They weren't going to buy any oil.
00:37:57And they were ready to make a deal.
00:37:59Iran was going to make a deal with us.
00:38:00And then we had that horrible, horrible result
00:38:03that we'll never let happen again.
00:38:05The election result, we're never going to let that
00:38:07happen again.
00:38:08They used COVID to cheat.
00:38:10We're never going to let it happen again.
00:38:13And they took off all the sanctions and they did
00:38:15everything possible for Iran.
00:38:19And now Iran is very close to having a nuclear
00:38:22weapon, which would have never happened.
00:38:23This is a shame.
00:38:24What's what this administration, the damage
00:38:27that this administration has done.
00:38:29And I say it often, if you took the 10 worst
00:38:32presidents in the history of the United States,
00:38:34think of it, the 10 worst, added them up.
00:38:36They will not have done the damage that Biden has
00:38:40done.
00:38:40I'm only going to use the term once.
00:38:43Biden.
00:38:43I'm not going to use the name anymore.
00:38:45Just one time.
00:38:47The damage that he's done to this country is
00:38:49unthinkable.
00:38:50It's unthinkable.
00:38:52Together, we will restore vision, strength,
00:38:55competence, and we're going to have a thing
00:38:59called common sense making most of our
00:39:01decisions.
00:39:02Actually, it's all common sense.
00:39:03Just a few short years ago, under my presidency,
00:39:11we had the most secure border and best economy in
00:39:14the history of our country.
00:39:15In the history of the world, we had the
00:39:17greatest economy in the history of the world.
00:39:20We had never done anything like it.
00:39:23We were beating every country, including China,
00:39:25by leaps and bounds.
00:39:27Nobody had seen anything like it.
00:39:29We had no inflation.
00:39:30Soaring incomes were going.
00:39:33Nobody's — nobody can believe it.
00:39:35You can't believe what happened four years ago is
00:39:39happening now in reverse.
00:39:42And the world was at peace.
00:39:44Inflation has been a killer for our country.
00:39:46No matter what you make it, it doesn't matter
00:39:48because inflation is eating you alive.
00:39:50People that were putting away money, that were
00:39:52making great wages — the highest they've ever made
00:39:56— but they were putting away a lot of money.
00:39:57Now they are just being destroyed.
00:40:00They're not putting away anything.
00:40:01They're barely living.
00:40:02They're going into savings accounts.
00:40:04They're taking out their money to live because of
00:40:06inflation.
00:40:07Inflation — remember, it's called a country
00:40:10buster.
00:40:10You can go back to Germany from 100 years ago.
00:40:14You can go back to any country that suffered
00:40:17great inflation.
00:40:18We've suffered the worst inflation we've ever had.
00:40:21But go back and see what's happened to those
00:40:23countries.
00:40:23We've had the worst inflation we've ever had
00:40:25under this person.
00:40:28But in less than four years, our opponents have
00:40:32turned incredible success into unparalleled tragedy
00:40:36and failure.
00:40:37It's been a tremendous failure.
00:40:39Today, our cities are flooded with illegal
00:40:41aliens.
00:40:42Americans are being squeezed out of the labor
00:40:45force, and their jobs are taken.
00:40:47By the way, you know who's taking the jobs?
00:40:49The jobs that are created?
00:40:51One hundred and seven percent of those jobs are
00:40:54taken by illegal aliens.
00:40:56And you know who's being hurt the most by millions
00:40:59of people pouring into our country?
00:41:02The black population and the Hispanic population,
00:41:06because they're taking the jobs from our black
00:41:09population, our Hispanic population, and they're
00:41:14also taking them from unions.
00:41:16The unions are suffering because of it.
00:41:19Thank you.
00:41:22Thank you.
00:41:22I like you, too.
00:41:24Thank you very much.
00:41:26Inflation has wiped out the life savings of our
00:41:29citizens and forced the middle class into a state
00:41:32of depression and despair.
00:41:34That's what it is.
00:41:35It's despair and depression.
00:41:37We cannot and will not let this continue.
00:41:40Less than four years ago, we were a great nation,
00:41:44and we will soon be a great nation again.
00:41:47And we're going to be a great nation again.
00:41:49Thank you.
00:41:58With proper leadership, every disaster we are now
00:42:02enduring will be fixed, and it will be fixed very,
00:42:05very quickly.
00:42:06So, tonight, whether you've supported me in the past
00:42:10or not, I hope you will support me in the future
00:42:12because I will bring back the American Dream.
00:42:16That's what we're going to do.
00:42:17You don't even hear about the American Dream anymore.
00:42:22With great humility, I am asking you to be excited
00:42:27about the future of our country.
00:42:29Be excited.
00:42:30Be excited.
00:42:30And, by the way, the news reports — oh, look at all
00:42:35of those big networks.
00:42:47Look at them.
00:42:48They're all here.
00:42:50But every one of them has said this could be the
00:42:53most organized, best-run, and most enthusiastic
00:42:59convention of either party that they have ever seen.
00:43:01Every single one.
00:43:03And it's true.
00:43:11It's true.
00:43:12And there's love in the room.
00:43:13There's great love in the room.
00:43:21So, I better finish strong.
00:43:23Otherwise, we'll blow it.
00:43:24And we can't let that happen.
00:43:27No, this was great.
00:43:28All of the great people that spoke, and everybody
00:43:31hit a home run.
00:43:31I mean, there's not one that I can think of where
00:43:34I said, oh, gee, that wasn't great.
00:43:36Every single person.
00:43:38I refuse to be the only one.
00:43:40Don't do that to me.
00:43:41They're already getting ready.
00:43:42See, I gave them an idea.
00:43:44No, we had a — this was a great convention.
00:43:48This was — I think we're actually going to go home
00:43:50and miss it.
00:43:51You know, usually with a — first of all, look at
00:43:53these crowds.
00:43:53You'd never have this at a convention.
00:43:55Look at these crowds.
00:43:56Love.
00:43:56It's about love.
00:43:59This week, the entire Republican Party has
00:44:10formally adopted an agenda for America's renewal.
00:44:13And you saw that agenda.
00:44:15And it's very short compared to the long,
00:44:18boring, meaningless agendas of the past,
00:44:23including the Democrats.
00:44:24They write these things that are hundreds of
00:44:26pages long, and they never read them after they're
00:44:28done.
00:44:29In their case, fortunately, they don't read
00:44:32them because they're pretty bad.
00:44:35It's a series of bold promises that we will
00:44:37swiftly implement when you give us a Republican
00:44:40House.
00:44:42And, Mr. Speaker, thank you very much.
00:44:44We have our great Speaker of the House with us
00:44:49tonight.
00:44:50Mr. Speaker, thank you very much.
00:44:54Thank you.
00:44:57A Republican Senate — we have many senators here.
00:45:01And send me back to our beautiful White House just
00:45:04a few short months from now.
00:45:06We're talking about just months.
00:45:09It can't come fast enough.
00:45:11We have to get it done.
00:45:14First, we must get economic relief to our
00:45:17citizens.
00:45:18Starting on day one, we will drive down prices
00:45:20and make America affordable again.
00:45:22We have to make it affordable.
00:45:24It's not affordable.
00:45:26People can't live like this.
00:45:28Under this administration, our current
00:45:31administration, groceries are up 57 percent.
00:45:35Gasoline is up 60 and 70 percent.
00:45:38Mortgage rates have quadrupled.
00:45:41And the fact is, it doesn't matter what they
00:45:43are because you can't get the money anywhere.
00:45:44You can't buy houses.
00:45:46Young people can't get any financing to buy a
00:45:48house.
00:45:49The total household costs have increased an average
00:45:51of $28,000 per family under this administration.
00:45:57Republicans have a plan to bring down prices and
00:46:00bring them down very, very rapidly by slashing
00:46:03energy costs.
00:46:04We will, in turn, reduce the cost of
00:46:06transportation, manufacturing, and all
00:46:10household goods.
00:46:11So much starts with energy.
00:46:15And remember, we have more liquid gold under our
00:46:17feet than any other country by far.
00:46:19We are a nation that has the opportunity to make
00:46:24an absolute fortune with its energy.
00:46:28We have it, and China does it.
00:46:31Under the Trump administration, just three
00:46:33and a half years ago, we were energy independent.
00:46:38But soon, we will actually be better than that.
00:46:41We will be energy dominant and supply not only
00:46:44ourselves, but we will supply the rest of the
00:46:48world with numbers that nobody has ever seen.
00:46:53And we will reduce our debt $36 trillion.
00:46:57We will start reducing that, and we will also
00:47:00reduce your taxes still further.
00:47:02Next.
00:47:04And, by the way, they want to raise your taxes
00:47:06four times.
00:47:07Think of it.
00:47:09In all my life, I grew up watching politicians.
00:47:11I always loved politics, I guess.
00:47:12I was on the other side.
00:47:14I'd watch politics.
00:47:15And they were always talking about, we will
00:47:16give you a tax cut.
00:47:17We will give you a tax cut.
00:47:19My whole life, I was watching, I will give you
00:47:22a tax cut.
00:47:22Right, Mr. Congressman?
00:47:23That's all they talked about.
00:47:25This is the only administration that said,
00:47:27we're going to raise your taxes by four times what
00:47:29you're paying now.
00:47:30And people are supposed to vote for them?
00:47:32I've never heard it.
00:47:34You're paying too much.
00:47:35We're going to reduce your taxes still further.
00:47:39We gave you the biggest one, as I said.
00:47:41We're going to give you more, and it's going to
00:47:43lead to tremendous growth.
00:47:45We want growth in our country.
00:47:47That's what's going to pay off our debt.
00:47:48And next, we will end the ridiculous and actually
00:47:56incredible waste of taxpayer dollars that is
00:47:59fueling the inflation crisis.
00:48:01They've spent trillions of dollars on things having
00:48:05to do with the Green New Scam.
00:48:06It's a scam.
00:48:07And that's caused tremendous inflationary
00:48:10pressures, in addition to the cost of energy.
00:48:14And all of the trillions of dollars that are
00:48:16sitting there not yet spent, we will redirect
00:48:20that money for important projects like roads,
00:48:22bridges, dams, and we will not allow it to be spent
00:48:25on meaningless Green New Scam ideas.
00:48:30And I will end the electric vehicle mandate
00:48:40on day one, thereby saving the U.S.
00:48:49auto industry from complete obliteration,
00:48:52which is happening right now, and saving U.S.
00:48:55customers thousands and thousands of dollars per car.
00:48:59And right now, as we speak, large factories
00:49:06just started are being built across the border
00:49:10in Mexico, so with all the other things happening
00:49:13on our border.
00:49:14And they're being built by China to make cars and to
00:49:16sell them into our country.
00:49:18No tax, no anything.
00:49:20The United Auto Workers ought to be ashamed for
00:49:23allowing this to happen.
00:49:25And the leader of the United Auto Workers should
00:49:28be fired immediately.
00:49:29And every single auto worker, union and non-union,
00:49:34should be voting for Donald Trump because we're
00:49:36going to bring back car manufacturing and we're
00:49:39going to bring it back fast.
00:49:41They're building some of the largest auto plants
00:49:48anywhere in the world.
00:49:50Think of it.
00:49:51In the world, we're going to bring it back.
00:49:52We're going to make them.
00:49:53We don't mind the we don't mind that happening.
00:49:55But those plants are going to be built in the United
00:49:58States, and our people are going to man those plants.
00:50:01And if they don't agree with us, we'll put a
00:50:06tariff of approximately 100 to 200 percent on each
00:50:12car, and they will be unsellable in the United
00:50:15States.
00:50:16We have long been taken advantage of by other
00:50:21countries.
00:50:23And think of it.
00:50:24Oftentimes, these other countries are considered
00:50:27so-called allies.
00:50:28They've taken advantage of us for years.
00:50:30We lose jobs, we lose revenue, and they gain
00:50:32everything and wipe out our businesses, wipe out
00:50:36our people.
00:50:36I stopped it.
00:50:37For four years, I stopped it.
00:50:39And we're really ready to make changes like nobody
00:50:43had seen before.
00:50:44And remember, USMCA, I got rid of NAFTA, the worst
00:50:47trade deal ever made, and replaced it with USMCA,
00:50:51which is, they say, the best trade deal ever made.
00:50:56Actually, probably the best trade deal was the
00:50:58deal I made with China, where they buy $50 billion
00:51:01worth of our product.
00:51:02They were buying nothing.
00:51:03They buy $50 billion worth.
00:51:05They had to.
00:51:07But I don't even talk about it because of COVID.
00:51:09I don't even mention it, frankly, because of what
00:51:11happened with the China virus.
00:51:13We will not let countries come in, take our jobs,
00:51:26and plunder our nation.
00:51:28They come and do that.
00:51:29They plunder our nation.
00:51:31The way they will sell their product in America
00:51:35is to build it in America.
00:51:37Very simple.
00:51:38Build it in America, and only in America.
00:51:41And this very simple formula in Congress has to
00:51:46go along with us, and they will.
00:52:03This very simple formula will create massive
00:52:06numbers of jobs.
00:52:07We will take over the auto industry again, and many,
00:52:10many hundreds of thousands of jobs.
00:52:13We lost so many jobs over the years.
00:52:15If you go back 20, 25 years, they've stolen
00:52:18going to China and Mexico about 68 percent of our
00:52:22auto industry manufacturing jobs.
00:52:24We're going to get them all back.
00:52:25We're going to get them all back, every one of them.
00:52:27At the center of our plan for economic relief are
00:52:34massive tax cuts for workers that include
00:52:38something else that's turned out to be very
00:52:40popular, actually.
00:52:42Here, it's very popular.
00:52:43This building and all those hotels that I saw
00:52:46that are so nice, I'm staying in a nice one.
00:52:48It's called No Tax on Tips.
00:52:51No tax on tips.
00:52:54No tax on tips.
00:53:00No tax on tips.
00:53:10I got that by having dinner recently in Nevada,
00:53:14where we're leading by about 14 points.
00:53:17Hello.
00:53:19I'll see you there very soon, everybody.
00:53:23And we're having dinner at a beautiful restaurant in
00:53:26the Trump Building on the Strip, and it's a great
00:53:28building, and the waitress comes over.
00:53:30How's everything going?
00:53:31A really nice person.
00:53:33How's everything?
00:53:34Oh, sir, it's so tough.
00:53:35The government is after me all the time on tips,
00:53:38tips, tips.
00:53:39I said, well, they give you cash.
00:53:40Would they be able to find it?
00:53:41She said, actually, I didn't know this.
00:53:43She said, very little cash is given.
00:53:44It's all put right on the check.
00:53:47And they come in and they take so much of our money,
00:53:49it's just ridiculous.
00:53:50And they don't believe anything we say.
00:53:51And they've just hired, as you know, 88,000 agents
00:53:56to go after them even more.
00:53:58And I said, this shows the level of my — you know,
00:54:05most people go out, they hire consultants, they're
00:54:07paying millions of dollars.
00:54:09But I said to her, let me just ask you a question.
00:54:12Would you be happy if you had no tax on tips?
00:54:14She said, what a great idea.
00:54:16I got my information from a very smart waitress.
00:54:19That's better than spending millions of dollars.
00:54:21And everybody — everybody loves it.
00:54:27Waitresses and tatties and drivers and everybody.
00:54:32It's a large, large group of people that are being
00:54:35really hurt badly.
00:54:36They make money, let them keep their money.
00:54:39I'm going to protect Social Security and Medicare.
00:54:43Democrats are going to destroy Social Security
00:54:46and Medicare because all of these people, by the
00:54:48millions that are coming in, they're going to be
00:54:51on Social Security and Medicare and other things,
00:54:54and you're not able to afford it.
00:54:56They are destroying your Social Security and your Medicare.
00:55:01Under my plan, incomes will skyrocket, inflation
00:55:04will vanish completely, jobs will come roaring back,
00:55:07and the middle class will prosper like never,
00:55:10ever before.
00:55:11And we're going to do it very rapidly.
00:55:13But no hope or dream we have for America can
00:55:24succeed unless we stop the illegal immigrant
00:55:28invasion, the worst that's ever been seen
00:55:30anywhere in the world.
00:55:31There's never been an invasion like this anywhere.
00:55:33Third-world countries would fight with sticks and
00:55:36stones not to let this happen.
00:55:39The invasion at our southern border, we will
00:55:41stop it, and we will stop it quickly.
00:55:43You heard Tom Holman yesterday.
00:55:45Tom Holman, put him in charge and just sit back
00:55:47and watch.
00:55:48Brandon Judd, the Border Patrol, he's incredible.
00:55:55These guys, you know, they really, their job is a lot
00:55:58easier if they don't have to do anything, but they
00:56:00want to.
00:56:00They're patriots.
00:56:01Brandon Judd, Border Patrol.
00:56:03ICE.
00:56:03ICE goes out.
00:56:04You have to see what ICE does with MS-13.
00:56:08You have these.
00:56:09These are probably the worst gang, and ICE goes
00:56:11in there.
00:56:11And I know a lot of people in these rows
00:56:13here, and they're very tough people, but they
00:56:15don't want to do this job.
00:56:17They'll go into a pack of MS-13 killers.
00:56:20They're the worst, probably the worst gangs in
00:56:22the world.
00:56:23We have thousands of them.
00:56:25I moved thousands and thousands out in my four
00:56:28years.
00:56:29We moved them out, and it was a pleasure.
00:56:30But ICE would go right into a pack of these
00:56:32killers, and you see fists flying, you see
00:56:34everything flying, and then they take them.
00:56:37They put them in a paddy wagon.
00:56:40They take them back, and they get them out of our
00:56:42country.
00:56:42And the other countries weren't accepting them
00:56:44back, and I called up and I said, tell them that
00:56:46we're not giving them economic aid anymore.
00:56:49And the next day, I got calls from all of these
00:56:51countries that were terminated.
00:56:54Billions of dollars we spend on economic aid to
00:56:56countries that does us, frankly, no good.
00:56:59And the next day, I was called by everybody.
00:57:01I couldn't take all the calls.
00:57:02Sir, sir, what's the problem?
00:57:04I said, you won't take your killers back that you
00:57:07sent in caravans into America.
00:57:10You won't take them back.
00:57:11Well, sir, if you'd like us to, we would give very
00:57:13serious consideration to doing that.
00:57:17And within 24 hours, they were being taken back for
00:57:20years and years.
00:57:22When I first came in, they said President Obama tried
00:57:26to get them to go back, and they wouldn't accept
00:57:29them.
00:57:29They put planes on the runway so you couldn't
00:57:31leave the plane.
00:57:31They closed the roads so you couldn't take the
00:57:33buses.
00:57:34It all had to turn back.
00:57:35As soon as I said, no more economic aid of any kind
00:57:38to any country that does that, they called back and
00:57:41they said, sir, it would be a great honor to take
00:57:43MS-13.
00:57:44We love them very much.
00:57:45We love them very much, sir.
00:57:51We'll take them back.
00:57:54At the heart of the Republican platform is our
00:57:56pledge to end this border nightmare and fully
00:57:59restore the sacred and sovereign borders of the
00:58:02United States of America.
00:58:03And we're going to do that on day one.
00:58:05That means two things on day one, right?
00:58:14Drill, baby, drill, and close our borders.
00:58:17And by the way, and I think everybody as a
00:58:28Republican is a patriot in this room, and most
00:58:31Democrats.
00:58:32We want people to come into our country, but they
00:58:35have to come into our country legally.
00:58:38Legally.
00:58:39Less than four years ago, I handed this
00:58:47administration the strongest border in
00:58:50American history.
00:58:52But you can see on the chart that saved my life.
00:58:55That was the chart that saved my life.
00:58:56I said, look at I'm so proud of it.
00:58:58I think it's one of the greatest.
00:59:01It was done by the Border Patrol.
00:59:02One of the greatest charts I've ever seen.
00:59:04It showed everything just like that.
00:59:06You know the chart.
00:59:07Oh, there it is.
00:59:08That's pretty good.
00:59:09Wow.
00:59:09Last time I put up that chart, I never really got
00:59:14to look at it.
00:59:15But without that chart, I would not be here today.
00:59:21I would not be here today.
00:59:22Never got to look at it.
00:59:41I said, you got to see this chart.
00:59:42I was so proud of it.
00:59:43And by the time I got to there, I never got to see
00:59:47it that day.
00:59:49But I'm seeing it now, and I was very proud.
00:59:51And if you look at the arrow on the bottom,
00:59:53that's the lowest level.
00:59:55The one on the bottom, heavy red arrow.
00:59:57That's the lowest level of illegal immigrants ever to
01:00:01come into our country in recorded history.
01:00:03Right there.
01:00:03Right there.
01:00:04And that was my last week in office.
01:00:10And then you see what happened after I left.
01:00:12Look at the rest.
01:00:13And if you go out a little bit further, it's getting
01:00:15to be a little bit old.
01:00:17But I love it anyway, right?
01:00:19But you can go much higher with those numbers.
01:00:21Look what happened right after that.
01:00:23The invasion began.
01:00:25We had the opposite.
01:00:26We stopped the invasion.
01:00:27But the invasion that we stopped was peanuts by
01:00:31comparison to what happened after I left.
01:00:33Look at what happened after I left.
01:00:35They took over our country.
01:00:37We ended all catch and release.
01:00:40We shut down asylum fraud.
01:00:42We stopped human trafficking and forged
01:00:44historic agreements to keep illegal aliens on
01:00:48foreign soil.
01:00:48We want them to stay on their soil.
01:00:51Under the Trump administration, if you
01:00:52came in illegally, you were apprehended
01:00:55immediately and you were deported.
01:00:57You went right back.
01:01:00The current administration terminated every single
01:01:03one of those great Trump policies that I put in
01:01:06place to seal the border.
01:01:08I wanted to seal the border.
01:01:09Again, come in, but come in legally.
01:01:11You know how unfair it is?
01:01:13So many people, hundreds of thousands of people,
01:01:16have been working for years to come into our
01:01:18country, and now they see these people pour into our
01:01:21country at levels that are unprecedented.
01:01:23It's so unfair.
01:01:25Now, we're not going to do it.
01:01:26We're not going to stand for it.
01:01:27They suspended wall construction, ended
01:01:30remain in Mexico.
01:01:31We had a policy, remain in Mexico.
01:01:33You think that was easy to get from the Mexican
01:01:35government?
01:01:36But I said, you must give it to us.
01:01:37If you don't give it to us, there will be
01:01:39repercussions.
01:01:40And they gave it to us, but not easy.
01:01:42Canceled our safe third agreements.
01:01:46Demolished Title 42.
01:01:47Implemented nationwide catch and release.
01:01:50That's catch and release where we catch them and
01:01:52release them into our country.
01:01:54I had we catch them and release them into Mexico.
01:01:58There's a slight difference.
01:01:59And took 93.
01:02:02This is the previous administration.
01:02:06Ninety-three executive actions to throw open our
01:02:09border to the world.
01:02:10The entire world is pouring into our country
01:02:13because of this very foolish administration.
01:02:16The greatest invasion in history is taking place
01:02:19right here in our country.
01:02:21They are coming in from every corner of the Earth,
01:02:23not just from South America, but from Africa,
01:02:26Asia, the Middle East.
01:02:28They're coming from everywhere.
01:02:29They're coming at levels that we've never seen
01:02:31before.
01:02:32It is an invasion, indeed.
01:02:34And this administration does absolutely nothing to
01:02:38stop them.
01:02:40They're coming from prisons.
01:02:41They're coming from jails.
01:02:43They're coming from mental institutions and insane
01:02:46asylums.
01:02:48I say, you know, the press is always on me because I
01:02:50say this.
01:02:52Has anyone seen Silence of the Lambs?
01:02:54The late, great Hannibal Lecter.
01:03:01He'd love to have you for dinner.
01:03:07That's insane asylums.
01:03:09They're emptying out their insane asylums.
01:03:11And terrorists are coming in at numbers that we've
01:03:13never seen before.
01:03:14Bad things are going to happen.
01:03:17Meanwhile, our crime rate is going up while crime
01:03:20statistics all over the world are going down
01:03:23because they're taking their criminals and
01:03:26they're putting them into our country.
01:03:29A certain country, and I happen to like the
01:03:32president of that country very much, but he's been
01:03:34getting great publicity because he's a wonderful
01:03:38shepherd of the country.
01:03:39He says how well the country is doing because
01:03:42their crime rate is down.
01:03:43And he said he's training all of these rough people.
01:03:46They're rough, rough, rough.
01:03:47He's training them.
01:03:48And I've been reading about this for two years.
01:03:50I think, oh, that's wonderful.
01:03:51Let's take a look at it.
01:03:53But then I realized he's not training them.
01:03:55He's sending all of his criminals, his drug
01:03:58dealers, his people that are in jails.
01:04:01He's sending them all to the United States.
01:04:03And he's different in that he doesn't say that.
01:04:06He's trying to convince everybody what a
01:04:08wonderful job he does in running the country.
01:04:10Well, he doesn't do a wonderful job.
01:04:12And, by the way, if I ran one of the countries,
01:04:13many countries, many, many countries from all over,
01:04:16I would be worse than any of them.
01:04:18I would have had the place totally emptied out
01:04:20already.
01:04:20But we become a dumping ground for the rest of
01:04:29the world, which is laughing at us.
01:04:31They think we're stupid, and they can't believe
01:04:35that they're getting away with what they're getting
01:04:37away with.
01:04:38But they're not going to be getting away with it
01:04:39for long.
01:04:40That's what I can tell you.
01:04:41In Venezuela, Caracas, high crime, high crime.
01:04:53Caracas, Venezuela, really a dangerous place.
01:04:58But not anymore.
01:05:00Because in Venezuela, crime is down 72 percent.
01:05:04In fact, if they would ever win this election — I
01:05:07hate to even say that — we will have our next
01:05:11Republican convention in Venezuela because it will
01:05:14be safe.
01:05:14Our cities — our cities will be so unsafe, we
01:05:18won't be able — we will not be able to have it
01:05:21there in El Salvador.
01:05:22Murders are down by 70 percent.
01:05:24Why are they down?
01:05:26Now, he would have you convinced that because
01:05:29he's trained murderers to be wonderful people.
01:05:32No.
01:05:33They're down because they're sending their
01:05:35murderers to the United States of America.
01:05:40This is going to be very bad.
01:05:44And bad things are going to happen, and you're
01:05:46seeing it happen all the time.
01:05:47That's why, to keep our families safe, the
01:05:49Republican platform promises to launch the
01:05:52largest deportation operation in the history
01:05:55of our country.
01:05:56Even larger than that of President Dwight D.
01:06:01Eisenhower from many years ago.
01:06:06You know, he was a moderate, but he believed
01:06:07very strongly in borders.
01:06:09He had the largest deportation operation
01:06:11we've ever had.
01:06:13Just recently, I spoke to the grieving mother of
01:06:16Jocelyn Nunn-Gary, a wonderful woman, a
01:06:21precious 12-year-old girl from Houston who, last
01:06:25month, was tied up, assaulted, and strangled
01:06:28to death after walking to the convenience store
01:06:30just a block away from her house.
01:06:33Her body was dumped near the side of the road in a
01:06:36shallow creek found by some onlookers who
01:06:40couldn't believe what they had witnessed.
01:06:42Charged with Jocelyn's heinous murder are two
01:06:46illegal aliens from Venezuela who came across
01:06:49our border, were in custody, and were then
01:06:51released into the country by this horrible,
01:06:54horrible administration that we have right now.
01:06:58I also met recently with the heartbroken mother
01:07:01and sister of Rachel Moran.
01:07:03Rachel was a 37-year-old mom of five beautiful
01:07:08children who was brutally raped and murdered while
01:07:11out on a run.
01:07:11She wanted to keep herself in good shape.
01:07:13It was very important to her.
01:07:14She was murdered.
01:07:16The monster responsible first killed another
01:07:18woman in El Salvador before he was led into
01:07:21America by the White House.
01:07:23This White House let them in.
01:07:25He then attacked a 9-year-old girl and her
01:07:28mother in a home invasion in Los Angeles before
01:07:31murdering Rachel in Maryland.
01:07:33Traveled all throughout the country, doing
01:07:35tremendous damage.
01:07:37Rachel's mother will never be the same.
01:07:40I spent time with her.
01:07:41She will never be the same.
01:07:43I've also met with the wonderful family of
01:07:47Lakin Riley, the brilliant 22-year-old nursing
01:07:51student.
01:07:51She was so proud of being first in her class, who
01:07:55was out for a jog on the campus of the University
01:07:59of Georgia when she was assaulted, beaten, and
01:08:02horrifically killed.
01:08:04Yet another American life was stolen by a criminal
01:08:07alien set free by this administration.
01:08:09And these were incredible people we're talking
01:08:12about.
01:08:13These were incredible people who died.
01:08:16Tonight, America, this is my vow.
01:08:18I will not let these killers and criminals
01:08:21into our country.
01:08:22I will keep our sons and daughters safe.
01:08:35As we bring security to our streets, we will help
01:08:38bring stability to the world.
01:08:41I was the first President in modern times to start
01:08:45no new wars.
01:08:46You know, we were the toughest.
01:08:47We were the most respected.
01:08:48We were the most respected.
01:08:52And you saw this hungry, strong country run by a
01:08:57very powerful, tough leader.
01:08:58He's a tough guy.
01:08:59The press doesn't like him because he's tough.
01:09:02And he came out recently.
01:09:04They were asking him at an interview.
01:09:06The whole world is exploding.
01:09:08What's happening?
01:09:08What's going on?
01:09:10Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, very
01:09:14tough man.
01:09:15He said, I don't want people coming into my
01:09:19country and blowing up our shopping centers and
01:09:21killing people.
01:09:23But they said to him, tell us what's going wrong.
01:09:25What's happening?
01:09:26What is it?
01:09:28He said, there's only one way you're going to solve
01:09:30it.
01:09:31You got to bring President Trump back to the United
01:09:34States because he kept everybody at bay.
01:09:37He used a word I wouldn't use because I can't use
01:09:43that word because you'd say it was braggadocious.
01:09:47The press would say he was a braggart.
01:09:48I'm not a braggart.
01:09:50But Viktor Orban said it.
01:09:52He said Russia was afraid of him.
01:09:54China was afraid of him.
01:09:56Everybody was afraid of him.
01:09:59Nothing was going to happen.
01:10:01The whole world was at peace.
01:10:03And now the world is blowing up around us.
01:10:07All of these things that you read about were not
01:10:09going to happen.
01:10:12Under President Bush, Russia invaded Georgia.
01:10:17Under President Obama, Russia took Crimea.
01:10:21Under the current administration, Russia is
01:10:25after all of Ukraine.
01:10:27Under President Trump, Russia took nothing.
01:10:33We defeated 100 percent of ISIS in Syria and Iraq.
01:10:50Something that was said to take five years, sir.
01:10:54It'll take five years, sir.
01:10:57We did it in a matter of a couple of months.
01:11:00We have a great military.
01:11:01Our military is not woke.
01:11:02It's just some of the fools on top that are woke.
01:11:05I got along very well with North Korea.
01:11:15Kim Jong Un, I got along very well with him.
01:11:17The press hated when I said that.
01:11:19How could you get along with him?
01:11:20Well, you know, it's nice to get along with somebody
01:11:23who has a lot of nuclear weapons, or otherwise,
01:11:26isn't it?
01:11:27See, in the old days, they'd say, that's a
01:11:29wonderful thing.
01:11:30Now they say, how could you possibly do that?
01:11:33But now I got along with him, and we stopped the
01:11:36missile launches from North Korea.
01:11:38Now North Korea is acting up again.
01:11:40But when we get back, I get along with him.
01:11:44He'd like to see me back, too.
01:11:46I think he misses me, if you want to know the truth.
01:11:48Our opponents inherited a world at peace and turned
01:11:54it into a planet of war.
01:11:56We're in a planet of war.
01:11:59Look at that attack on Israel.
01:12:00Look at what's happening with Ukraine.
01:12:04The cities are just bombed out.
01:12:06How can people live like that?
01:12:08Where buildings, massive buildings, are falling to
01:12:10the ground.
01:12:12It began to unravel with the disastrous withdrawal
01:12:15from Afghanistan, the worst humiliation in the
01:12:18history of our country.
01:12:19We have never had a humiliation like that.
01:12:22Thirteen heroic U.S.
01:12:24service members were tragically and needlessly
01:12:26killed.
01:12:27Forty-five others were horrifically wounded.
01:12:29Nobody ever talks about them.
01:12:31No arms, no legs.
01:12:34Face explosions.
01:12:36Horrifically, horrifically wounded.
01:12:40And, by the way, we have a man in this room who's
01:12:44running for the U.S.
01:12:46Senate from a great state, Nevada, named Sam Brown,
01:12:52who paid the ultimate price.
01:12:55Thank you, Sam.
01:12:59Thank you, Sam.
01:12:59Thank you.
01:13:03He paid the biggest price probably ever paid by
01:13:11anybody that is running for office, and I think
01:13:14he's going to do great.
01:13:16He's running against a person that is not good,
01:13:19not respected, a total lightweight.
01:13:22But, Sam, I think paid, really.
01:13:24We were talking about it with some of the senators
01:13:27that are working so hard for Sam, but he paid the
01:13:31biggest price of any senator ever to run for
01:13:34the Senate.
01:13:35I don't think anybody has ever what he did.
01:13:37He was a real hero, a really great person.
01:13:40And he's running, and I hope that everybody gets
01:13:42out and votes for Sam Brown.
01:13:44And we also left behind $85 billion of the U.S.
01:13:54worth of military equipment, along with
01:13:57many American citizens were left behind.
01:14:01Many, many American citizens, emboldened by
01:14:05that disaster, Russia invaded Ukraine.
01:14:07They saw this group of people that were
01:14:08incompetent.
01:14:09We took the soldiers out first.
01:14:11No, no, we're going to take the soldiers out
01:14:12second.
01:14:13If they would have followed my plan, we had a great
01:14:15plan.
01:14:17But the plan only kicked in if they did everything
01:14:19perfectly.
01:14:19And they weren't doing things perfectly, so we
01:14:21said it doesn't kick in.
01:14:23You know, 18 months in Afghanistan, we didn't
01:14:26have one soldier.
01:14:27They were killing them left and right, snipers.
01:14:31And I spoke to the head of the Taliban.
01:14:35You've heard this story.
01:14:36Abdul, still there, still the head of the Taliban.
01:14:40The press got on me.
01:14:41Why would you speak to him?
01:14:42I said, because that's where the killing is.
01:14:44I don't have to speak to somebody that has nothing
01:14:46to do with it.
01:14:48And I told him, don't ever do that.
01:14:50Don't ever do that again.
01:14:51Don't ever, ever do that again.
01:14:53You've got to stop.
01:14:54Because during the Obama administration, many
01:14:57great people and soldiers, a lot of soldiers, were
01:15:00being killed from long distance.
01:15:03I said, if you keep doing that, you're going to be
01:15:04hit harder than anybody has ever been hit by a
01:15:06country before.
01:15:07And he said, I understand, Your Excellency.
01:15:18Call me Your Excellency.
01:15:21I wonder if he calls the other guy Your Excellency.
01:15:23I doubt it.
01:15:23The other guy gave him everything.
01:15:26I mean, what kind of a deal was that?
01:15:27He walked out, gave him everything.
01:15:29Do you know that, right now, Afghanistan is one
01:15:32of the largest sellers of weapons in the world?
01:15:36They're selling the brand-new, beautiful
01:15:38weapons that we gave them.
01:15:41But think of it.
01:15:43He actually said to me, but why, but why do you?
01:15:46Show me a picture of my home.
01:15:49I said, you'll have to ask your people or one of your
01:15:51wives.
01:15:52But he could figure it out.
01:15:56And for 18 months, we had not one attack on an
01:16:01American soldier by the Taliban.
01:16:04Eighteen months.
01:16:14And then we had that horrible day where
01:16:15soldiers were killed.
01:16:16I was not there because of a ridiculous election.
01:16:20But we had that horrible attack.
01:16:23And they also gave up Bagram, one of the biggest
01:16:26bases anywhere in the world, air bases anywhere
01:16:28in the world, the longest runways, most powerful,
01:16:31hardened, thickened runways.
01:16:33We gave it up.
01:16:34And I liked it, not because of Afghanistan.
01:16:37I liked it because of China.
01:16:38It's one hour away from where China makes their
01:16:40nuclear weapons.
01:16:42And you know who has it now?
01:16:44China has it now.
01:16:46We were keeping that.
01:16:48And now China is likewise circling Taiwan and
01:16:53Russian warships and nuclear submarines are
01:16:56operating 60 miles off the coast in Cuba.
01:17:00Do you know that?
01:17:01No.
01:17:01The press refuses to write about it.
01:17:03If that were me running this country and we had
01:17:06nuclear submarines in Cuba, I will tell you that
01:17:10the headlines every day would be, what's wrong
01:17:12with our president?
01:17:13You don't even hear this.
01:17:14You're not hearing about this.
01:17:16Russia has nuclear submarines and warships
01:17:2060 miles away, Mr. Congressman, from Miami,
01:17:24by the way, happens to be here.
01:17:26Correct?
01:17:28In Cuba.
01:17:31And that would not be stood for if it were
01:17:33somebody else.
01:17:33They don't even, they don't want to mention it,
01:17:35but now maybe they will.
01:17:38And the entire world.
01:17:40I tell you this, we want our hostages back and
01:17:44they better be back before I assume office or
01:17:47you will be paying a very big price.
01:17:49With our victory in November, the years of
01:17:55war, weakness and chaos will be over.
01:18:14I don't have wars.
01:18:16I had no wars other than ISIS, which I defeated,
01:18:18but that was a war that was started.
01:18:20We had no wars.
01:18:21I could stop wars with a telephone call.
01:18:24I could stop wars with just a telephone call.
01:18:29If properly stated, it would never start.
01:18:33We will replenish our military and build an
01:18:35Iron Dome missile defense system to ensure that no
01:18:39enemy can strike our homeland.
01:18:41And this great Iron Dome will be built entirely in
01:18:46the USA.
01:18:47We're going to build it.
01:18:48We're going to build it.
01:18:49The USA and Wisconsin, Wisconsin, just like I
01:18:55gave you that massive ship contract and you're doing
01:18:59a very nice job, Governor, right?
01:19:03Thank you, Governor.
01:19:05And they're doing a great job.
01:19:06In fact, I had a little design change.
01:19:08We gave him a tremendous for essentially what we
01:19:10used to call destroyers.
01:19:12These are now the most beautiful.
01:19:14They look like yachts.
01:19:15I said, we have to take the bow and we have to
01:19:17make it a little nicer and a little point at the
01:19:19top instead of a flat nose.
01:19:22And the people at the shipyard said, this guy
01:19:24sort of knows what he's doing.
01:19:25We have most beautiful ships, right, Governor?
01:19:27And everybody sitting over there.
01:19:30And it was a big contract that everybody wanted.
01:19:32I gave it to Wisconsin.
01:19:33But we're going to have a lot of that built right
01:19:36here in the state of Wisconsin and all other
01:19:40states.
01:19:40Israel has an Iron Dome.
01:19:42They have a missile defense system.
01:19:44Three hundred and forty-two missiles were
01:19:46shot into Israel and only one got through a little
01:19:50bit.
01:19:50It was badly wounded.
01:19:51It fell to the ground.
01:19:52But most of them are.
01:19:53And Ronald Reagan wanted this many years ago, but
01:19:55we really didn't have the technology many years ago.
01:19:58Remember, they called it Starship, Spaceship,
01:20:01anything to mock him.
01:20:03But he was a very good president, very, very
01:20:05good.
01:20:06But now we have unbelievable technology.
01:20:13And why should other countries have this?
01:20:15And we don't.
01:20:15No, no.
01:20:16We're going to build an Iron Dome over our country,
01:20:18and we're going to be sure that nothing can come and
01:20:21harm our people.
01:20:23And again, from an economic development
01:20:25standpoint, we're going to make it all right here.
01:20:27No more sending it out to other countries in order
01:20:30to help.
01:20:30It's America first, America first.
01:20:35We will unleash the power of American innovation.
01:20:38And as we do, we will soon be on the verge of
01:20:41finding the cures to cancer, Alzheimer's
01:20:44disease, and many other diseases.
01:20:46We're going to get to the bottom of it.
01:20:48You remember this gentleman that I don't
01:20:53want to mention other than one time I had to, because
01:20:55when you say you're the 10 worst, I had to do it.
01:20:58I didn't want anybody to be confused.
01:21:01But this man said, We're going to find a cure to
01:21:03cancer.
01:21:04Nothing happened.
01:21:05We're going to get to the cure for cancer and
01:21:07Alzheimer's and so many other things.
01:21:09We're so close to doing something great, but we
01:21:13need a leader that will let it be done.
01:21:17We will not have men playing in women's sports.
01:21:20That will end immediately.
01:21:21And we will restore and renovate our nation's
01:21:35once-great cities, making them safe, clean, and
01:21:38beautiful again.
01:21:39And that includes our nation's capital, which is
01:21:42a horrible killing field.
01:21:45So many things.
01:21:46They leave from Wisconsin.
01:21:47They go to look at the Washington Monument.
01:21:49They end up getting stabbed, killed, or shot.
01:21:52We will be very soon very proud of our capital
01:21:55again, Washington, D.C.
01:21:57America is on the cusp of a new golden age, but we
01:22:02will have the courage to seize it.
01:22:11We're going to take it.
01:22:12We're going to make it a current.
01:22:13I mean, we're going to bring this into a golden
01:22:16age like never seen before.
01:22:18Remember this.
01:22:19China wants to do it.
01:22:20Japan wants to do it.
01:22:21All of these countries want to do it.
01:22:23We have to produce massive amounts of energy if
01:22:27we're going to produce the new.
01:22:30If you look at some of the things that have been
01:22:32done and some of the things that we're going to
01:22:35do.
01:22:36But AI needs tremendous, literally twice the
01:22:42electricity that's available now in our
01:22:44country.
01:22:45Can you imagine?
01:22:46But instead, we're spending places where they
01:22:50recharge electric cars.
01:22:52They built eight chargers at a certain location
01:22:55toward the Midwest.
01:22:56Eight charges for $9 billion.
01:23:00Think of them as a tank for filling up your gas.
01:23:04Think of it.
01:23:05They spent $9 billion on eight charges, three of
01:23:11which didn't work.
01:23:14And if you are going to do this all over our
01:23:16country, this crazy electric mandate, if you're
01:23:19going to do this all.
01:23:20And by the way, I'm all for electric.
01:23:22They have their application.
01:23:24But if somebody wants to buy a gas powered car,
01:23:27gasoline-powered car, or a hybrid, they're going to
01:23:31be able to do it.
01:23:32And we're going to make that change on day one.
01:23:35So, to conclude, just a few short days ago, my
01:23:49journey with you nearly ended.
01:23:53We know that.
01:23:54And yet, here we are tonight, all gathered
01:23:57together, talking about the future promise and a
01:24:00total renewal of a thing we love very much.
01:24:04It's called America.
01:24:07We live in a world of miracles.
01:24:09None of us knows God's plan or where life's
01:24:12adventure will take us.
01:24:14I want to thank Franklin Graham for being here
01:24:16tonight.
01:24:17He's an outstanding man.
01:24:18He wrote me a note recently.
01:24:24I have a lot of respect for him.
01:24:26Sir, I love your storytelling.
01:24:29I think it's great, in front of these big rallies.
01:24:31But, sir, please do me one favor.
01:24:33It won't make any difference.
01:24:35Please, don't use any foul language.
01:24:37I was a little embarrassed, I said.
01:24:43He said, it won't make any difference.
01:24:44Actually, it does.
01:24:45The story is not quite as good, but I've been very
01:24:47good.
01:24:48The story is not quite as good, to be honest.
01:24:51I've got to have a little talk with Franklin, but
01:24:53he was great.
01:24:55He's a great gentleman.
01:24:56His father was so incredible.
01:24:57Billy Graham.
01:24:59My father used to love taking me to see Billy
01:25:02Graham.
01:25:03My father would take me to see Billy Graham at
01:25:05Yankee Stadium.
01:25:07He had the biggest rallies you've ever seen.
01:25:09He was a good rally guy, too.
01:25:11But he'd get up, and he was a fantastic guy.
01:25:14My father loved Billy Graham, but I love
01:25:18Franklin Graham.
01:25:19I think Franklin's been fantastic.
01:25:20And I'm trying.
01:25:21I'm just working so hard to adhere to his note to
01:25:24me.
01:25:25I'm working hard on it, Franklin.
01:25:28But if the events of last Saturday make anything
01:25:30clear, it is that every single moment we have on
01:25:34Earth is a gift from God.
01:25:36We have to make the most of every day that we have
01:25:45to make.
01:25:45And today, for the people and for the country that
01:25:46we love, the attacker in Pennsylvania wanted to
01:25:50stop our movement.
01:25:52But the truth is, the movement has never been
01:25:55about me.
01:25:56It has always been about you.
01:25:57It's your movement.
01:25:58It's the biggest movement in the history of our
01:26:00country, by far.
01:26:01It can't be stopped.
01:26:04It can't be stopped.
01:26:06It has always been about the hardworking, patriotic
01:26:10citizens of America.
01:26:12For too long, our nation has settled for too little.
01:26:15We settled for too little.
01:26:17We've given everything to other nations, to other people.
01:26:21You have been told to lower your expectations
01:26:23and to accept less for your families.
01:26:26I am here tonight with the opposite message.
01:26:29Your expectations are not big enough.
01:26:32They're not big enough.
01:26:34It is time to start expecting and demanding
01:26:41the best leadership in the world,
01:26:42leadership that is bold, dynamic,
01:26:45relentless, and fearless.
01:26:46We can do that.
01:26:48We are Americans.
01:26:49Ambition is our heritage.
01:26:51Greatness is our birthright.
01:26:54But as long as our energies are spent fighting each other,
01:26:57our destiny will remain out of reach,
01:27:01and that's not acceptable.
01:27:03We must instead take that energy and use it
01:27:06to realize our country's true potential
01:27:09and write our own thrilling chapter of the American story.
01:27:13We can do it together.
01:27:14We will unite.
01:27:15We are going to come together,
01:27:17and success will bring us together.
01:27:25It is a story of love, sacrifice,
01:27:29and so many other things.
01:27:33And remember the word, devotion.
01:27:36It's unmatched devotion.
01:27:39Our American ancestors crossed the Delaware,
01:27:41survived the icy winter at Valley Forge,
01:27:44and defeated a mighty empire to establish
01:27:47our cherished republic.
01:27:49They fought so hard, they lost so many.
01:27:52They pushed thousands and thousands of miles
01:27:55across a dangerous frontier,
01:27:57taming the wilderness to build a life
01:27:59and a magnificent home for their family.
01:28:02They packed their families into covered wagons,
01:28:05trekked across hazardous trails,
01:28:09scaled towering mountains, and brave rivers and rapids
01:28:14to stake their claim on the wide-open,
01:28:16new, and very beautiful frontier.
01:28:20When our way of life was threatened,
01:28:22American patriots marched onto the battlefield,
01:28:25raced into enemy strongholds, and stared down death
01:28:30and stared down those enemies
01:28:32to keep alive the flame of freedom.
01:28:35At Yorktown, Gettysburg, and Midway,
01:28:38they joined the roll call of immortal heroes.
01:28:41So many heroes, so many great, great people.
01:28:46And we have to cherish those people.
01:28:47We can't forget those people.
01:28:49We have to cherish those people.
01:28:50And building monuments to those great people
01:28:58is a good thing, not a bad thing.
01:29:02They saved our country.
01:29:05No challenge was too much.
01:29:08No hardship was too great.
01:29:11No enemy was too fierce.
01:29:13Together, these patriots soldiered on and endured,
01:29:18and they prevailed because they had faith in each other,
01:29:21faith in their country,
01:29:22and above all, they had faith in their God.
01:29:26Just like our ancestors, we must now come together,
01:29:34rise above past differences.
01:29:38Any disagreements have to be put aside and go forward,
01:29:41united as one people, one nation,
01:29:44pledging allegiance to one great, beautiful —
01:29:47I think it's so beautiful — American flag.
01:29:51Tonight, I ask for your partnership, for your support,
01:29:58and I am humbly asking for your vote.
01:30:01I want your vote.
01:30:03It's going to make our country great again.
01:30:09Every day I will strive to honor the trust you have placed in me,
01:30:13and I will never, ever let you down.
01:30:15I promise that. I will never let you down.
01:30:20To all of the forgotten men and women
01:30:22who have been neglected, abandoned, and left behind,
01:30:26you will be forgotten no longer.
01:30:29We will press forward, and together we will win, win, win.
01:30:34Win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win, win.
01:30:49Win, win, win, win, win, win.
01:30:56Nothing will sway us, nothing will slow us,
01:31:00and no one will ever stop us.
01:31:06No matter what dangers come our way,
01:31:08no matter what obstacles lie in our path,
01:31:11we will keep striving toward our shared and glorious destiny,
01:31:16and we will not fail.
01:31:18We will not fail.
01:31:23Together, we will save this country,
01:31:26we will restore the republic,
01:31:29and we will usher in the rich and wonderful tomorrows
01:31:33that our people so truly deserve.
01:31:36America's future will be bigger, better, bolder, brighter,
01:31:41happier, stronger, freer, greater,
01:31:44and more united than ever before.
01:32:00And quite simply put,
01:32:03we will very quickly make America great again.
01:32:09Thank you very much.
01:32:10Thank you very much, Wisconsin.
01:32:13God bless you.
01:32:15God bless you, Wisconsin,
01:32:17and God bless the United States of America, our great country.
01:32:20Thank you very much, everybody.
01:32:22Thank you.
