00:00So, what are your main hopes for Chesterfield with the new government taking over?

00:06Well, I'm hoping the government do what they said they were going to do.

00:10Level up, get some new trains.

00:14Trains aren't very good, stations aren't very good.

00:17And I hope they just do what they promised to do.

00:22And market and bring things up to date.

00:28But apart from that, I'm happy that we've got a new government and a new start.

00:36I mean, we're lucky really that as a pensioner we've already paid the mortgage off and we're not struggling.

00:44I don't know, I think the government should just listen to what people want, I guess.

00:51I hope they carry on with the promise to help the NHS, to be honest.

00:56I've been trying to get a Covid injection and it's really difficult.

01:02I'm immune depressed apparently after chemo and I've not been able to get a Covid injection anywhere.

01:12The doctors aren't doing it anymore, they've run out.

01:15And they're not very helpful at all.

01:18Well, you ought to still be able to get that one on the back road at Ingersoll.

01:22I used to go down Artington. There isn't a bus down Artington at all now.

01:26And I've got a cousin down there that's poor there.

01:28I have to wait for somebody to give me a lift there to get me a lift back.

01:31And it's disgusting really. Not everybody's got cars.

01:44It's no joke, look, there's no buses.

01:46You rely on the buses as you get older if you've got no car.

01:54I think stagecoach is just taking the mickey.

01:59They really are. They've cut the services so bad.

02:11If there is a timetable anymore, they just turn up when they want to basically.

02:19Would somebody like the government to get involved?

02:22Well, yeah, basically. They should, really.

02:26But it's supposed to be public transport, you know,

02:32It's just like another profit-making machine rather than public transport.

02:38It's supposed to be there for the public, but it's not.

02:40It's there to make money.
