00:30Our son, Omer, is an American citizen.

00:47For 285 long days and nights, Hamas terrorists have been holding Omer in prison in tunnels

00:56underneath Gaza.

01:00Omer, which is a biblical name and means in Hebrew, the first crop, is our firstborn.

01:12He was born in New York City one month after 9-11.

01:17Eight months pregnant, I walked across the Queensborough Bridge towards home that day.

01:24And here we are, 23 years later, and he's the victim of another vile terrorist attack.

01:36Let me tell you a little bit about my son.

01:40He's a connector.

01:41He's an extremely social person.

01:43He loves sports.

01:45In high school, he was captain of the soccer ball, volleyball, and basketball teams.

01:51He's a natural leader.

02:00And he cares deeply about others and about helping them grow.

02:05He turned 22 on October 14, 2023.

02:11And instead of celebrating with us and with his friends, he spent his birthday as a hostage

02:18of Hamas terrorists.

02:21Imagine, over nine months, not knowing whether your son is alive, waking up every morning,

02:32praying that he, too, is still waking up every morning, that he is strong and is surviving.

02:41I recite Psalm 23 in his merit every single day.

03:32During the brutal October 7 attack on Israel, over 1,200 people were slaughtered.

04:06Omer is one of eight American hostages and one of 120 hostages still left in Gaza.

04:17Citizens of 24 countries and five different religions, still held by Hamas, denied basic

04:31President Trump called us personally right after the attack when Omer was taken captive.

04:43We need our beautiful son back.
