Summer Vacation Turns Dramatic: Wildfire erupts near Kos Island tourist hub

Vacationers who kicked off July on the beautiful island of Kos had no idea that the sight that would hold their attention the most was that of a wildfire.

"I was on vacation when I saw a wildfire," the filmer, Szymon, told WooGlobe.

At first, the footage makes it look like there's only smoke and small clusters of blazes.

However, the nighttime clip shows a much worse state of affairs, as full-on flames are visible not too far from the filmer's location, which happens to be a typical tourist hotspot.
