00:00Welcome back to Explainer X today, I am going to recap a 2005 thriller-drama movie, named Melissa Piso, let's begin.
00:07At the beginning of the movie we are shown a shy girl named Melissa.
00:10Melissa is a young girl, and she lives with her mother Daria and grandmother Elvira.
00:15Elvira had a bad habit of smoking cigarettes, and she remains sick for a long time.
00:20Melissa does not talk much with her mother, but she is very close to her grandmother.
00:24Today Melissa is very happy, because today a boy named Daniele has invited Melissa to his party.
00:30Daniele is the most popular and rich boy in the school, and Melissa has had a crush on him for a long time.
00:36Melissa attends a party at Daniele's house with a friend, Manuela, but she doesn't dare to talk to Daniele.
00:42At such a party, a boy pushes Melissa into the water, but Melissa did not know how to swim, so she starts drowning.
00:48Seeing this, Daniele jumps into the water, and brings Melissa out of the water.
00:53Daniel then takes Melissa to his backyard, from where the sea was visible.
00:57Daniele asks Melissa about her family.

01:17Many months pass after that day, and in all these months, Daniele had never even called her apart from meeting Melissa.
01:24But still Melissa was falling madly in love with Daniele.
01:27School gets open in few days.
01:29Here too Melissa tries to get Daniele's attention, but to no avail.
01:33Then Melissa goes to a bar with her friend Manuela, where Daniele also came with his friends.
01:38Daniele recognizes seeing Melissa, and introduces him to his friends.
01:43Melissa loves seeing this.
01:44After this Daniele takes Melissa to his house, and starts to seduce him there.
01:49Then both of them get intimate there.
01:50Meanwhile, Melissa tells Daniele that she loves him.
01:53But Daniele mocks Melissa after hearing this, and rejects his love, and leaves him there.
01:58Now it was the second time, when Daniele insulted Melissa.
02:02Now Melissa decides, that she will not remain as an innocent girl.
02:06Rather she will also become like Daniele, and will hurt others for her own happiness.
02:10Here Melissa's parents decide, that his grandmother should be put in a nursing home.
02:15Because the condition of his heart was deteriorating.
02:17Then Daria and Melissa go to drop Elvira off at the nursing home.
02:21Melissa wasn't happy about it at all, because she was very close to her grandmother.
02:26Both leave him there and return home.
02:28Daria tries to talk to Melissa, but Melissa doesn't want to talk to her.
02:31From the next day onwards, Melissa is determined to change herself.
02:35She goes to a cafe with Manuela, and gestures to an unknown man sitting far away.
02:40She does this for a long time, and when that man comes to her to talk to Melissa.
02:44So Melissa gets up from there and goes out.
02:46Actually by doing this Melissa wanted to show Manuela, how much she has changed.
02:51A few days later, at Christmas, Elvira returns home.
02:54She understands seeing Melissa, that there are many problems going on in Melissa's life.
02:59She secretly tells Daria about it.
03:01But Daria says, that it is nothing like that.
03:03And like this a few more days pass, and one day Melissa gets a call from Daniele.
03:08He tells her, that he wants to give her a surprise, and he invites Melissa to his house.
03:13Despite being so humiliated with Daniele, Melissa goes to his house.
03:17There Daniele starts seducing Melissa, and tells him to close his eyes.
03:21After this a friend of Daniele comes into the room, and he also starts kissing Melissa.
03:26Actually, both of them wanted to be intimate with Melissa together.
03:29Then when Melissa comes to know about it, then she starts leaving from there.
03:33But then to show that she doesn't care about anything,
03:35she comes back and gets intimate with both of them.
03:38Melissa also had a diary, in which she used to write every incident that happened to her.
03:42When Manuela finds out about Melissa's antics, then she tries to convince Melissa,
03:47that she shouldn't do it all, but Melissa doesn't listen to her one.
03:50The next day Melissa goes to a museum on a scooter,
03:53and there a man comes and sits near Melissa, and Melissa is intimate with him too.
03:58One day Melissa's diary is caught by one of her classmates,
04:01and she reads it out in front of the whole class,
04:03due to which all the dark secrets of Melissa are known to everyone.
04:07Melissa also wrote about her being intimate in this diary,
04:10and the whole class gets to know about it too.
04:12Then Melissa angrily withdraws her diary, and she blames Manuela for this.
04:17Melissa had written wrong things in the diary for Manuela,
04:20which Manuela feels bad about, and Melissa breaks her friendship with him.
04:23Melissa then goes on to show everyone that she has completely changed,
04:27starts wearing short clothes.
04:29The next day Manuela comes to meet him, but Melissa doesn't talk to him.
04:33There was also a boy named Marco in Melissa's class,
04:36and he used to like Melissa, but he had not even been able to talk to Melissa till date.
04:40Today he dares to go to Melissa, but then Melissa gets Daniele's call.
04:44After a while Daniele's friend Arnaldo comes to visit Melissa,
04:48and tells him that today he is going to give surprise.
04:51Then he blindfolds her, and takes her to a basement.
04:54We see in the basement, that apart from Arnaldo there are four other boys present there.
04:59And then when Melissa sees them, then he understands everything,
05:02and then made out there with everyone.
05:04Now the next day this word spreads in the whole school, and everyone gets to know,
05:08what a girl Melissa is.
05:10Then Melissa also creates her account on a dating site.
05:13There she chats with many unknown boys.
05:15Melissa finds such a man on this site, due to which Melissa starts talking a lot.
05:20Then this man invites Melissa to his hotel to get intimate,
05:23and Melissa gets ready and leaves for that hotel.
05:26After some time Daria comes home, so he gets a call from the nursing home,
05:30and he is told this, that grandmother's health is not well,
05:33and he should come quickly to see her.
05:35After hearing this, Daria goes to her room looking for Melissa.
05:38But Melissa was not there.
05:40Daria finds her diary in Melissa's room, and she takes him to the nursing home.
05:44There that diary starts falling,
05:46and Daria comes to know about all the secrets of her daughter.
05:49And knowing all this, Daria was very fond of.
05:52Meanwhile, a man comes and tells Daria, that the grandmother is dead.
05:56And then knowing this, Daria starts crying a lot over there.
06:00On the other hand, Melissa reaches the unknown man at his hotel,
06:03where some clothes were kept for him.
06:05After some time that man also comes there.
06:07He gets very angry seeing this, that Melissa is wearing a mix of all the dresses.
06:12After this man tells Melissa, actually it was the fantasy of the man he wanted to fulfill
06:17with Melissa that he beat her with a hunter.
06:19Then Melissa does the same.
06:20But then the man starts hitting Melissa very hard.
06:23This frightens Melissa terribly, and somehow escapes from that hotel.
06:27Then she comes home, where his mother Daria was sitting in his bedroom.
06:31Then Daria tells Melissa about grandmother's dead.
06:34Hearing this, Melissa starts crying.
06:36Seeing his clothes, Daria understood.
06:39That's where Melissa is coming from.
06:40After some time Daria asks Melissa by showing her diary,
06:44that whatever is written in it, is it true or just your imagination?
06:47Says Melissa, that yes, it is absolutely true.
06:50After hearing this, both of them start crying there.
06:53And Daria apologizes to Melissa,
06:55that he should have taken better care of Melissa.
06:58And from today onwards she can share everything with her mother.
07:01And some time passes.
07:02And Melissa returns to her original form.
07:04Today was his last day of school, and she goes to Manuela's house before going to school.
07:09But there Melissa befriends Manuela again.
07:12Then they both leave for school together.
07:14Here Arnaldo and Daniele get into an argument at school.
07:17Because Arnaldo had found out, that Daniele is getting intimate with his girlfriend.
07:21And in anger, he even slaps Daniele.
07:23Melissa and Manuela were also passing by.
07:26Daniele tries to stop Melissa after seeing her.
07:29But this time Melissa doesn't listen to him.
07:31And Melissa goes to check the result.
07:33And he finds out, that Marco, a boy in his class, has failed.
07:36And he comes here too.
07:38And tells Melissa everything about his feeling.
07:40He tells her this too.
07:42That he is about to leave this school and join art school.
07:44He likes Melissa.
07:46And some of Melissa's sketches are also made by him.
07:48He then shows Melissa all the sketches he made in his notebook.
07:51Seeing whom Melissa feels very good.
07:54He asks Melissa to pose.
07:55Because wanted to make his last sketch before leaving.
07:58After the sketch is made, Melissa hugs him.
08:00And then Marco also leaves from here.
08:02After this Daniel comes to Melissa.
08:04And tells him.
08:05That today a wonderful party is going to be held in his house.
08:09And he invites her to this party.
08:10Melissa initially refuses Daniel's.
08:13But later agrees to leave.
08:14Then in the same evening Melissa goes to that party with Manuela.
08:18She sees him at the party.
08:19That Daniel and her friends are intoxicated.
08:22Then after a while Melissa goes to the backyard.
08:24And jumps into the sea.
08:26Everyone forbids her to do so.
08:27But still she jumps.
08:28After a while she comes over the water.
08:30And then it starts swimming.
08:32And in doing so she looked quite happy.
08:34Now we are shown a scene after a long time.
08:36Here we see Melissa with her mother.
08:38Those who were going near the grave of the grandmother.
08:41Then both of them reach near the grave and keep flowers there.
08:44And then Daria hugs Melissa.
08:46By which we come to know.
08:47That there is a good bonding between these two now.
