00:01and I am Miguel Diaz on Cobra Kai.
00:03This is my character's entire arc in 60 seconds.
00:06Ready? Hit it!
00:07Miguel is the underdog who rises to the occasion
00:11thanks to his sensei, Johnny,
00:13but he goes to the dark side by the end of season one.
00:16He doesn't care about anything, he just cares about winning.
00:18So he has to go through his revenge arc.
00:21He needs to seek revenge on his enemy, Robbie.
00:24They duke it out.
00:25Robbie ends up winning the first scuffle.
00:28So Miguel has to go to the hospital.
00:30He has to re-up, he has to get trained.
00:32Season three is rehabilitation.
00:35Season four, time for the next All-Valley.
00:37Miguel's looking to get his back-to-back victory.
00:40It doesn't go in his favor.
00:41Cobra Kai's on top.
00:43Miguel, in between two love triangles,

01:06My name is Eli Moskowitz, and I'm a loser.
01:08Everybody bullies me, everybody thinks I'm super lame,
01:10and I'm very shy because I think everyone's gonna be super judgmental
01:13towards me, which they are.
01:14I befriend this new kid, Miguel, who comes to the school.
01:17And, you know, he's really cool.
01:18He gets picked on too because he's hanging out with us lame nerds,
01:21me and my binary brother, Dimitri.
01:22He joins karate, starts beating up the other bullies,
01:24and I'm like, oh, I wanna do that too, so I join.
01:25And I'm like, oh, I gotta beat the bullies too.
01:27And then Johnny Lawrence makes fun of me, and I'm like,
01:29oh, I'm so depressed, this is horrible.
01:30But I flip the script, and I get a mohawk.
01:32And then I become super cool and I'm powerful.
01:34And then I get evil, and the power grows in my head,
01:36it increases in my head.
01:37I'm like, oh, my God, I don't know what I'm doing.

01:41I trashed the Miyagi-Do set, and then I beat up Brux,

03:05Okay, season one, Ravi, bad kid, drugs, steals things,
03:08bad stuff, finds out his dad is kind of being nice to another kid,
03:11decides that he's gonna go to his nemesis
03:13and learns to train under him.
03:14He really learns some nice lessons, goes to a tournament, loses,
03:17but the nemesis decides that he wants to train him,
03:19so he goes to Miyagi-Do, trains at Miyagi-Do all season two.
03:21Kind of finds balance, but at the end of season two,
03:23might have killed the kid. He did deserve it, but it's okay.
03:26Season three, he goes to Juvie for almost killing a kid,
03:29learns that maybe striking first could be the right thing to do,
03:31gets out of Juvie, goes to Cobra Kai.
03:32Season four, goes to Cobra Kai,
03:34learns some really bad lessons from John, Kreese, Terry, Silver,
03:36kind of finds a kid that he can mentor,
03:37basically kind of also kills that kid in the tournament,
03:40decides that he probably shouldn't do that a third time.
03:42Season four to season five,
03:43decides that he should probably go back to his other two mentors
03:46for the past four seasons, maybe they had the right thing,
03:48tries to find balance in Miyagi-Do,
03:50and that's kind of where we left off,
03:52and you'll see where we are in season six right... now.

04:04Okay, here we go. Sam started out season one,
04:06she was trying to fit in with the cool crowd,
04:08she was taking a break from karate because she wanted to be different
04:10and try different things in her life,
04:11but then we find her season two,
04:14figuring out that maybe karate wasn't so bad after all,
04:16maybe her dad's actually kind of cool,
04:18so she jumps into learning karate,
04:20has a second relationship on the show,
04:22her relationship with karate becomes even more complicated
04:24when her house gets broken into,
04:25changes her whole perspective on herself and her safety
04:28and her self-confidence.
04:29She finds that through her relationship with karate
04:32and through her struggles with her PTSD,
04:34and when she comes back stronger than ever,
04:36she is Miyagi-Do through and through.
04:38She's, I think, the only one who's never really switched dojos,
04:41at least the only other, you know, LaRusso.
04:43She finds that maybe her relationships weren't all that complicated
04:47and what it really comes down to is balance, after all.

05:00Let's go.
05:01So my character was a bit of a nerd, he didn't like karate,
05:03he didn't like to do any sort of martial arts stuff
05:05until one day Miguel Diaz, a guy, shows up and tells him about karate.
05:08He decides to check it out, but he meets Johnny Lawrence,
05:11he gets flicked onto his back, karate's out.
05:13But next thing you know, he wants to try karate again
05:16because he hates himself, and so he meets Increase.
05:19He finds his tattoo, doesn't like it, makes fun of that.
05:21Boom, he gets beaten up again. No karate.
05:24He has a falling out with his lifelong friend Eli,
05:27turned hawk, breaks his arm.
05:28That's disgusting, not very nice.
05:30Dimitri joins Miyagi-Do because it's the only dojo that doesn't beat him up.
05:34That's amazing, he's very happy about that.
05:36He's getting better at karate until finally he has a fight with his friend.
05:40He thinks he's gonna break his arm again, but he doesn't.
05:43Such a great guy.
05:44Season five, he does some coding, some hacking and stuff like that.
05:46He helps them take down the Cobra Kai gang.
05:50They're gone, they're dead forever.
05:51Silver, the ruler of Cobra Kai, he's out.
