00:00The investigation and detention of these new lawyers

00:05urges the Court of Appeal to pay attention to the law enforcement agencies,

00:10including the Malaysian Criminal Procedure Agency,

00:13to respect the principles of professional law enforcement

00:17and the right to representation.

00:19In the circuit, the Criminal Law Enforcement Agency of the Court of Appeal said

00:23these principles cannot be touched in the law enforcement and justice administration.

00:29The previous SPRM conducted a raid on the law firm and frozen the company's accounts.

00:35In response, the Court of Appeal asked the law enforcement agencies

00:39to compare the detentions made in their personal capacity

00:42or involving lawyers when performing their professional duties

00:47under the Law Profession Act 1976.

00:50The Court of Appeal also urged all parties

00:53to immediately contact the Law Enforcement Agency of the Court of Appeal

00:57if their firm is also subject to such actions by the SPRM.

01:02The Court of Appeal said

01:04a meeting with the SPRM's Chief of Investigation

01:07and other law enforcement agencies

01:10would be held soon

01:13to deal with and oppose the investigation

01:16or police action that violates the specialization of professional or legal duties.
