00:00Computer Science videos here today to show you guys in this tutorial how to
00:04transfer a text file to a USB on a Mac computer. Without further ado let us start
00:10the video. So in this tutorial you need to have access to a Mac computer. A USB
00:15pen drive can be with any capacity from 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 all the way to maybe a
00:21terabyte. However for this tutorial we are working with a very small file so
00:26we're going to start the tutorial. So let's take the USB flash drive, insert
00:31that into the USB port. If you have USB type-c you will require a USB with USB
00:37type-c. So there goes the USB inside the USB port on a Mac computer. Let's just
00:46open up the Kingston USB and make sure you have a text file. If not you will
00:52have to open up text edit, create the text file itself and save it file name
00:57.txt. As you can see on screen we have 10 commands .txt. Right click, copy the
01:08file name or we can drag and drop. Let's just drag and drop into the Kingston USB
01:16and that itself has now been copied. We can now quit, find it for the moment. Go
01:22to the Kingston USB file, icon on screen on the desktop and then we can eject the
01:33Kingston USB. Wait for that to load. If that's taking too long
01:40Command-E to further eject the flash drive on screen. Just make sure it's not
01:48being used. There we go. Take out the USB from the USB port, insert back. Wait for
01:58that to load. Open up the Kingston USB and there we have the 10 commands .txt.
02:05Let's just open that up, go full screen and there we go. So what we can do now is
02:12quit text edit. Go back to finder, Command-W, Command-E to eject and so
02:23that's it with this video. I'll see you guys in the next tutorial. Thanks for now.
