ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಸರ್ಕಾರ 3ನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ರಚನೆ ಆಗುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಹಾರ ಸಿಎಂ ನಿತೀಶ್​ ಕುಮಾರ್​ ಅವರ ಜೆಡಿಯು ಪಕ್ಷ ಕಿಂಗ್​ ಮೇಕರ್​ ಪಾತ್ರ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಎನ್​ಡಿಎ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಿಹಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಹಲವರು ಅಂದಾಜಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ನಾಳೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಬಜೆಟ್​ ಮಂಡನೆಯಾಗಲಿದ್ದು, ಬಿಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸ್ಥಾನಮಾನ ನೀಡುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸರ್ಕಾರ ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕಿದೆ.
