'Not allowed on our team' - Australian chief wouldn't pick Dutch convicted rapist for Olympics

Anna Meares was clear that convicted child rapist Steven van de Velde would not have been selected to participate for Australia. The 29-year-old served 13 months of a four-year sentence after pleading guilty to raping a 12-year-old British girl when he was 19.
